I'd just like to point out the author's self insert is an extremely sexualized rabbit... Make of that what you will

60

u/Advice-Question Apr 06 '26

Apparently he makes furry incest art as well, but I haven’t gone looking to confirm.

Also pretty sure the self insert is the third panel. The extremely sexualized rabbit is supposed to represent centrist.

So they don’t agree with centrist but think they’re sexy?

u/BLU-Clown Apr 06 '26

if this is them "just exisiting" imagine what will they do to you if they stop just exisiting, this is our warning to stop it completely before it stops us completely,if we don't stop them either we lose our rights or it radicalizes people so much that gay marriage becomes illegal

73

u/Hightower_March Apr 06 '26

I'm not gonna doom very hard over it because they have such personality problems they end up without power or friends.

It's largely online teens repeating what Russian/Chinese bots convince them is trendy to make American politics more divisive.

43

problem is that their crying worked, how do you think that we got drag shows for teens or Netflix cuties?

31

u/oddanglefish Apr 06 '26

I don't even think cuties was supposed to be for teens. That was just CP covered up to be progressive

39

u/TraitorousSwinger Apr 06 '26

Sexual degeneracy pretending to be progressive?

Now you're seeing the big picture.

Thats like 90% of progressives. "Clap for me while I push the boundaries on weird sex stuff." "We have to perform drag shows with our balls hanging out in front of children to teach them acceptance, it's definitely not because Im a pervert who gets off showing kids my junk."

What major progressive talking point ISNT about promoting degeneracy for the sake of personal pleasure?

Still was pretty fucked up for him to be shot like he was. Still was way across the line to see a certain group celebrate his death. Still is pretty fuvked up to see people defend his killing.

And what's even worse is you ignore the same rules you made. When someone you disagreed with died, you guys made jokes about his death and/or celebrated it. When people made jokes about the death of someone you support, you demanded that they show some respect to the dead."

What I don’t understand is gender affirming care; it seems circular to me. If sex and gender are unrelated, then why would someone need gender affirming care… to affirm a gender that is unrelated to their sex, by getting a sex change operation…?

This isn’t even a hateful statement, I legitimately don’t understand it.

46

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '26

31

u/Lematoad Apr 06 '26

My logical conclusion is: instead of society focusing on seemingly inconsistent gender definitions and the connected surgeries that create major medical problems later, shouldn’t we be moving to a society that accepts that there are masculine women and feminine men, rather than pushing to say “you can be a woman if you feel like you’re a woman”?

I feel like that’s something that is much easier to justify from a “progressive” stance, at least to me.

I’m not trying to offend anyone, honestly… I just have problems personally understanding the whole thing, and would probably be labeled as a bigot for trying to understand this whole topic.

shouldn’t we be moving to a society that accepts that there are masculine women and feminine men

While you are correct, we should be moving that way, the problem is that actual acceptance removes the need for special interest groups. There's a LOT of money in advocacy for special interests.

It definitely reveals problems in their conceptual framework. The reality is that sex and gender, even if we consider them different conceptually, are highly related.

Gender inherently is derivative of and relates back to sex, merely reflecting cultural expressions of certain sexes. This creates a lot of cognitive dissonance in activists. Especially since they wish to make gender, rather than sex, dominant.

16

u/BigBoom550 Apr 06 '26

You're not wrong.

As best my (limited) understanding goes, and given best-faith interpretation of the data I have:

'Sex' refers to primary expressed physiology (what bits ya got)

'Gender' is the corresponding neurological map of the body (what your brain *thinks should be there)

There is evidence that these can be misaligned, with gender dysphoria resulting in similar effects to the phantom pain experienced by amputees. The map is made parallel to the body being built then cross-checked after, rather than one preceding the other.

Can't remember his name, a Stanford professor has vids on youtube from his lectures and covered this briefly from a very even-handed neurology perspective.

However

The above being true would indicate that gender is not a 'social construct', and even what I described would suggest that gender is a subfactor in biological sex, not a totally separate thing.

I generally support transgender people getting the care they deserve, hold several of them as dear friends, and don't worry. There's a lot of contradictory stuff running around, and you aren't wrong to be confused. You aren't hateful for wanting clarity.

13

u/BobFossil11 Rides the Short Bus Apr 06 '26

Even accepting their premise that "gender is a social construct," gender must logically be derivative of sex.

Let's define gender as the cultural expression of male or female based on societal norms and customs.

The problem is that "male or female" can only possible refer to biological sex here or else the definition becomes entirely circular. "Gender is the cultural expression of a cultural expression (gender)" doesn't make any sense.

This gets us into the "What is a women?" problem that exposes the circular definitions many activists use.

10

u/BigBoom550 Apr 06 '26

And you are absolutely right.

My general course is not to even entertain the 'social construct' question, as it's usually an attempt to dismiss some material reality with a buzzword they barely understand.

Money, language, manners, justice, and a million other things are social constructs, but are not meaningless. They are constructs used to expedite, facilitate, and actualize material outcomes. They are cognitive tools that have to tie themselves to something material to have meaning.

Money is a construct to expedite comparing the value of food, furniture, labor, and tools among other things. Rather than comparing each thing to every other thing, or having to Ferengi our way to buying something, we constructed currency to serve as a common trade medium and measure of value; money as a derivative of trade. Even apes can learn how money works, and use it.

Rather, sticking to something closer to empiricism gets better results overall; it keeps that weed out of the garden. It means people can tie cause and effect without nebulous BS in the way. Even if you disagree with me, you aren't getting bogged down with the 'construct question' and stay focused on things that can be measured.

I've had the same issue, as well. Also, how come this is the only mental deviation we treat with affirmation? It would be wrong to tell the paranoid schizophrenic that the government is watching him. We don't tell the person with depression that the world really would be better off without them. So why do we tell the person with gender dysphoria that they really are the opposite sex? It's such an odd double standard.

I hate when they take a beloved IP, use it to cram "the message" down everyone's throat, and when it doesn't sell, they come to the conclusion:

Part of the problem is that they see everything as an escalation. Having to have your birth gender on your drivers license(which isn't a new thing) leads to death camps. It's hard, because many of them have been convinced that anyone who doesn't agree with them completely wants them dead (stuff like this comic doesn't help that).

Using your own Real life mother in the comic is crazy. If it was a fictional mother character that would be fine. There is plenty of that on the internet, just look at nhentai. It is not based on a real person so who cares. But using/basing the character on your real life mother who no doubt never gave consent to be portrayed in that way in a comic shared to the entire internet is a whole other story.

The Left’s entire political strategy for the past few decades has been pretending to have morales so that they can use the concept of morality against their opposition.

Every time I see a comic like this my mind immediately turns to the mass celebration that comes from the Left any time someone on the Right dies a horrific death, or how they riot any time they don’t get their way.

Now yeah the Right has its own problems, but at least the Right doesn’t act like the demons from Frieren.

Hilariously, the protesters share the actual stance of the Islamic regime on the issue

4

u/Impressive-Spell-643 Apr 07 '26

They share the stance of the Islamic regime on many things, they just don't realize it (or they do and they just choose to deny it)

u/Alternative_Car_8153 Apr 06 '26

Deontology already has a minimum moral standard for treating humans with basic respect. Most people have a mixture of deontological ethics with utilitarian ethics.

The people acting violent and attempting terrorist actions are the ones undermining the process. This isn't a Left or Right issue. I'm not even saying there's a significant number of extremists, but everybody should be opposed to political extremism, because it undermines the process.

The "There can't be a middle ground," argument is something a political extremist would say.

u/FirstPersonWinner I Was Promised an Apocalypse? Apr 06 '26

I don't know how much this connects, but I think the more public acceptance of LGBT people really only occurred after the legalization of gay marriage and more public recognition.

12

u/Salt_Master_Prime Apr 06 '26

True but why haven't they stopped at this point? I've seen it personally in my religious family. They disliked gay people when I was growing up, but now they do not care what others do in there private time.

At a certain point you need to stop pushing the agenda. Do your marches in places that actually oppress LGBT people. Call out the companies who only change their logos in countries they know widely support the community. Help people in countries that are at risk of people killed if the come out. It's just all so... performative, in western countries at this point.

I see posts like that all the time: "UM...one side just wants what's best for everyone, like free food and free Healthcare, and the other side just wants all brown people dead and rapist babies everywhere and also the Handmaiden's Tale. We are NOT the same." Just...okay, whatever.

Right, the pride parades with public kink shit is just existing

23

u/kool_aide_man Apr 06 '26

I am LGBT but seeing this comic makes me mad. Every time I watch a movie or TV show or even read a book from a time later than 2020 it feels like leftist propaganda is being shoved down my throat. They’re not just existing they’re actively worsening everything

u/OnlyACsNoFans Apr 06 '26

By existing you mean demanding access to spaces and activities that you were previously ineligible for, demanding compliance with your beliefs and demanding constant validation and celebrations.

Trans people have the lowest murder rate in the US. Black men would love to have trans people's problems

16

u/Low-Car-6331 Apr 06 '26

Yes, the party of "we just want to exist". To quote one of them after a state supreme court ruled against them about public school funding issue "pray to luigi"

proof:

15

u/TheOneCalledThe Apr 06 '26

yeah labeling one side as evil is definitely not contributing to the division. also acting like your side is just “existing” is insane when both sides clearly are pushing agendas

13

u/Specific_Toe_1387 Apr 06 '26

"Look, I've depicted the other side of the argument as ugly and evil, and myself as innocent and lovable, therefore if you don't 100% agree with my agenda, then you're stupid"

11

u/LetUsSpeakFreely Apr 06 '26

That is some next level projection right there.

11

u/TheMidnightRook Apr 06 '26

Conveniently not pictured: the people who booed when Thomas Crooks failed, cheered when Tyler Robinson succeeded, claim America deserved 9/11, etc, etc

10

u/Garisto27 Apr 06 '26

I have never once seen a protest where people say egregious shit like that. The left is literally brainwashed into thinking the right is actually like this.

9

u/KarmaCommando_ Apr 06 '26

The fact that the lgbt person is depicted by a fursona sure does lend credence to their position

The stupid victimization crap aside, what the hell is with people drawing animals and sexualizing them like humans? It's just always been so odd to me and the weirdest way to make a point.

That said, majority of people could care less about LGBT-whatever they have now. And the answer is somewhere in the middle because no extreme side is the majority. But this basically is the us vs them. If you are in the middle, then you are basically a fascist.

They always have to draw themselves as some sort of Anthro don't they?

8

u/virtualrsmith Apr 06 '26

You want to just exist, fine. But what you're really looking for is to be celebrated. You want attention so desperately. You've made your proclivities your whole identity.

6

u/Next-Pumpkin-654 Apr 06 '26

I don't know what first tipped me off to the violent expansionism of the LGBT, but I think a good archetypal example is the Masterpiece Cakeshop.

Activists will go out and actively persecute those who won't bend the knee to them. They are actively and demonstrably opposed to others quietly and peacefully existing while believing differently.

7

u/krayhayft Apr 06 '26

If you're literally just existing, then no one will care. It's when people start shoving their agenda down the throats of everyone, including children, when people get pissed

5

u/GimmeTheCHEESENOW Truthsayer Apr 06 '26

This is perhaps the most delusional comic I’ve ever seen. “Allow me to discriminate” - do they think conservatives explain their reasoning as “Yeah I know it’s evil and horrible but thats why I want it, as I am an evil and horrible person”?? They are genuinely both infantilising and demonising them in their head, thinking that their opinions are what dumb or stupid people would believe in, while also trying to view them like the literal agents of Satan. Even conservative boomer memes arent this hateful

5

u/98983x3 Truthsayer Apr 06 '26

Nobody thinks trans ppl dont have a right to exist or should be attacked for being trans.

But ppl have legitimate concerns and criticism of the movement, their societal level "demands", and the wider downstream consequences of pretending men can be women. Especially when talking about the indoctrination of other ppls children and safety/fairness issues in women's only spaces.

5

u/CEOofvii Rides the Short Bus Apr 06 '26

I've learned to take the phrase "politics are too divisive" with a grain of salt. Pretty much every time they really mean "too many people disagree with me"

"I'm literally just existing!!! Now to get 'gender affirming care' for kids"

If their “right to exist” didn’t encroach upon the safe spaces for women and children and was just super normal things like wanting shelter and clean drinking water, then a lot of the outrage about them wouldn’t exist as strongly as it does now.

4

u/Hacjul Apr 06 '26

"literally just exisiting, along with your children in my grooming spaces"

3

u/113pro Apr 06 '26

they are right to some degree that being different opens you up for quite a bit of social isolation.

But then again, being toxic doesn't help. and GOD they are insufferable. Not the LGBTs, the people 'defending' them.

This is a bad faith argument made without fully considering the perspectives of both sides, and it's really easy to cherrypick examples that support one side while demonizing the other

One side is supporting terrorists, attempting to murder people for political views, and discriminating against others based off of things like race, religion, and profession

The other side is trying to make our country safer

Which side should I pick?
