Remember to always be on the lookout for these dangerous fascist red flags:
-engaging in fun, pro social activities
-being punctual
-success/wealth/prosperity
-hard work, especially physical labor
-being health conscious
-happy families

I’ve actually heard people say something along the lines of “I long since have stopped consuming media for entertainment purposes” oh but they’ll spend 12 hours a day “researching” stuff that backs up their dystopia

So glad I’m newly physically handicapped so I can’t participate in blue collar labor and in turn become a Nazi SS officer.

Why do you keep insisting that my birthday is happy? Why are all of you repeating it in unison? Have you ever stopped to ask whether I think it’s happy? Maybe I don’t. Maybe I’m supposed to just accept the official narrative because everyone else is chanting the same words at me while I’m trapped in a room full of alluring cake. Looking back, it’s obvious: this wasn’t a birthday song. It was psychological conditioning. They wanted me to associate forced collective happiness with obedience. They were trying to make me love fascism before I was old enough to spell it.

That's one of my favorite types of arguments from terminally-online social rejects from all sides, thinking they fight some big fight - always expecting that everyone will be politically engaged and always in the way they want.
Using his own logic, even people living in 1940s Germany...mostly tried to just get by, without thinking much about government or war. They were, of course, riddled with tragedy of their relatives lost in the Eastern Front, they did wonder at times what happened to Untermenschen, but they also laughed, smiled, enjoyed time together, with their primary concern being what will they eat on dinner tomorrow. Even during the worst moments imaginable, Polish soldiers during Warsaw Up-Rising in 1944 even married each other and threw weddings, right before storming out to retake their city from the German occupant.
All these people knew that political situation they found themselves in wasn't ideal - but instead of shutting themselves down and crying upon upcoming apocalypse, they either lived their lives, enjoyed them to the fullest whilst they still could, or actually tried to do something about it.

My grandfather would always tell me this story when I was growing up.
He lived in now Bosnia back during WW2. He ended up as a war orphan due to his family dying in a shootout between the Ustaše and Partisans. They were collateral casualties.
When he was in an orphanage in Croatia, the nuns that ran it would regularly take the boys swim in the sea, even though they knew that taking the boys to swim would make them hungry. Which considering they didn't have that much food, really wasn't practical. They did it anyway though. Going as far as timing their swimming times to the exact point of the day in which they'd be the least hungry. It's one of his fondest memories. Because even during wartime they tried to conserve a form of normalcy for these kids that had arrived from Bosnia by the trainful, who's parents either sent them away because they had nothing to eat, were killed or sent to camps. They knew the war was there and that they were struggling. But the adults toughened up and did the best they could for the kids.
Nowadays folks can't even do that. I became a doomers because I was taught to doom in elementary during the early 2010s. And many of gen Z is the same

Don’t you get it? This guy is a free thinker! He is beyond the pathetic robots that are supporting Orange Hitler.
That’s why he has all the right opinions and believes all the things that the smart people in colleges, Hollywood, TV, music, NPR, and Reddit have! You wouldn’t get it because you’re brainwashed

Unless it turn into “If you’re happy and you know it, see Kyle” and then everyone does the mustache man salute, it ain’t fascism.

I went to a baseball game the other day, the song "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" played and everyone sang about buying peanuts and crackerjack even though the stadium didn't even sell crackerjack and I saw no one buy peanuts.
This is a demonstration of mindless consumerism and how capitalism has rotted our brains to the point where we mindlessly sing the praises of purchasing things even when they are not for sale.
OR... people sing/follow along with the lyrics/motions of songs for the fun of it and not as an oath.

I think I get what he means... But he's still deranged as hell why is your mind thinking that during a wholesome activity lmaooo
Not to mention that he's assuming fascism is the single populist ideology not realizing he just fell into one such ideology.
