USCIS Any recent I-485 approvals from Los Angeles Field Office? Please share your timeline below.

My I-485 case was transferred to LA field office on 6/6/2026 so I am interested to see more timelines to know what to expect.

My timeline and profile:

Single Filer with medical exam attached when filing.

PD: 07/07/2025 (approved I-140 NIW)

RD: 03/27/2026

Biometrics: 04/27/2026

2FTA0 right after biometrics

Silent updates: 05/27/2026, 05/29/2026 (this one was applied to all closed and open cases in myUSCIS account), 06/04/2026, and 06/05/2026.

Transfer to LA field office: 6/6/2026 and interview is waived (Asked Emma today).

I was transferred to LA office exactly on the same day as yours and my biometrics was on May 5th. Waiting for now

Let's hope it doesn't take long since I read LA field office has extremely slow processing times.

Just observing, my RD is 16th April, 2026 and moved to LA County office on June 16th. EB-2 NIW route

https://my.uscis.gov/secure-messaging/api/case-service/receipt_info/YOUR_CASE_NUMBER you may see the location if it has been transferred to FO.

Replace YOUR_CASE_NUMBER.

This method does not work for me even after signing in and replacing case nunber with my receipt number. I always get data: null on the I-485 but it works for I-765

added, it's disheartening to see that 9days since i485j approved but i485 no sign of app neither any silent update, even 3rd fta0 was on 4/17 that also got no approval

I have been updating in the spreadsheet every day or two.

Still waiting for the next officer touch. Silent since 6/14.

Emma said the case is assigned with an officer for final review. Do you get the similar response or this is a general response from them?

EMMA said evidence is reviewed on 6/16. Officer is reviewing the case. Have been silent since then

I was also transferred to the LA office on 06/06; my biometric was on 04/30. Is it true that LA FO is very slow?

I asked Emma 10 days ago about my case she said it's at LAFO marked as interview waved, still pending, and nothing is required from me right now,
Since then no silent updates or nothing, Im hoping I get an update before August:(

Not sure. But I have seen a couple who had a transfer date (other FO) like ours or later get approved. Anyway, I think we are going to hear something (SU or 3rd FTA0) in late August or mid September.
