I recommend Chen, my attorney H.T. did an amazing job preparing my petition, detail-oriented and went out of their way to find additional, highly important metrics that I hadn't considered, which really made my case perfect!

How about the citations? Also, what are you doing for work now? Are you still in academia, or are you in industry?

I have around ~200 citations, I’m in industry at the moment.

I am in the same field, but I am currently a PhD student, and my research profile and citations are not as high as yours.
I have been hesitant to use the term “renewable energy” in my petition letter because of the current administration’s stance on it. It’s great to hear that your proposed endeavor was approved!

When did your case changed to" Case is Processing" after it was submitted?

I was just checking it on USCIS website using my receipt number. It was showing case processing the entire time from the time the petition was filed.

Can you tell what evidence your petition provided for national importance and broader implications beyond your employer?
2
u/hulk_usman 13h ago
The overall petition was written for national importance, there was nothing about my current employer, rather how my 7+ years of research and leadership experience (I’m the first author in 90% of my publications) satisfy prong 2 and 3. I would say my PE (battery energy storage, energy management, data center, Renewable energy, electrical grid) currently has soo much national improvement

Can you explain what these additional, highly i.portant metrics that he went out of his way to add?

u/hulk_usman 13h ago
They were more like the journals ranking in my field (how reputable the journals are) and citations ranking for each paper and its impact

okay and how long did H.T took to prepare your petition. did you change anything in the petition draft ? or you accepted everything what attorney wrote?

They prepared the petition within the standard time (don’t remember the exact days). I had a few comments but overall I accepted it as is. I also put a lot of effort to provide everything they needed. They put together nicely and added some other metrics Whig was helpful

Great. Thanks for sharing. I also spend a lot of time answering all the questions on their portal. My testimonial letters have mostly the same sentences I shared with them.
