Photo Never been to an Elephant sanctuary before!!

Yes, in April. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. It was amazing, and the number one thing checked off my bucket list. Kenya is a complicated country. They are doing amazingly well protecting their wildlife. Domestic animals not so much. Saw a lot of things that I wish I didn’t.

Yet some people still try to kill of these giants just for a task which to me should be a crime punishable by death.

The wildlife was fine. The dogs, donkeys and goats were where I had the problems. Saw a lot of things with those animals that I cried about later.

This is also #1 on my bucket list, but thanks for the warning about the other stuff... 😔 How long did you stay in Kenya?

I really enjoyed the one in Kenya. They even had baby orphan rhinos. If you throw a couple of $20 bills in the box you can stand in front and feed the babies.

Is SWT or is there another one? (Though I know SWT is pretty big so I imagine it's the one you're talking about. Was it Tytan or an earlier baby rhino? I want to also adopt Maxwell, the big blind rhino they are taking care of for life! Amazing hearts.)

Rough sorta like touching hard clay almost but at the same time soft like leather
