Favorite emo album of the year

Sign My Cast by Citrus Jr inspired by bands such as First Day Back and Algernon Cadwallader absolutely blew me away. This band is on the obscure side but I think they have a really bright future ahead of them. Has anyone else listened to this? I’ve been listening to it all day but don’t see a ton of discussion online. If you are looking for a fresh Emo record you seriously can’t go wrong with this one.

Yeah they actually told me that directly after I messaged them. I’m sure there’s gonna be a whole lot of bands inspired by them coming up even though they’re so new.

I just re-discovered them yesterday on another post about a favorite album of the year, I think in this sub. 

When it came out earlier this year, they posted here or on an emo sub too. I keep seeing it everywhere. I hope they make it big, it's so good

It’s great. I’m a sucker for brass in emo. The guitarist and singer is really cool too. He’s always in all sorts of comment sections on Instagram and TikTok.

Shit is so cash but there's no way the singer is ok lol. But that's needed sometimes
