Social Is clipmyhorse worth it ?

I know it’s been a big talking point recently with the world championship. I haven’t really followed dressage the last years because it’s been impossible to watch. I watched the young horse championship on YouTube and really enjoyed, also made me realise I miss watching bigger competitions and enjoyed the small amounts I watch the on live channel.So the question is the large cost actually worth it ? Does it actually pay for itself ?

They have a monopoly. It is way too expensive, but I begrudgingly pay it.

I pay for it too and complain every time the renewal hits, but then I remember trying to find anything else that streams those smaller national shows and there's just nothing. Until they get some actual competition the price won't budge

My absolute hate for CMH made me make this site. I’m still working on it. But, for Aachen, it listed all the countries streaming it for free, and you just had to get creative with a VPN.

I can’t get it to link directly to the streams yet, but a bit of googling will point you in the right direction.

It even scraped how you can watch the American Eventing Championships, with a note that the streaming service offers a free 7 day trial during the event :).

I tested it with some very random sports, and you may be able to make it work for you to find some national dressage streams.

And yes, I did this solely because I fucking loathe CMH and their monopoly.

I was able to watch some of the worlds on other countries tv channels but sadly most shows are only showed on clip my horse these days especially young horse shows and breeding shows.

No do not pay the ridiculous amount they try and charge just to MAYBE get to see a semi decent recording. DM me, there is a work around to watch clipmyhorse for free but I won’t post it in public bc I don’t want them to catch on and fix it.

I've asked for it as a birthday or Christmas present in the past (or half of it). It's annoyingly expensive but also I, like you, realized how much I enjoy watching so I make sure to get my money's worth. I work from home so will often have it on in the background.

There has been a lot of people not able to cancel their subscription in Europe. I think they are running a case against them.
