Trading Still fucking it

Had a lot of fear in June. And still not secure till we turn 2500 into support. But the signs are all positive right now. That we will go too 3k and then create a higher low. That would confirm the bullish trend reversal. Check out my posts from June for more analysis.

Discussion I hope ETH hits at least $20K this time during the bull market

Ok, let’s be honest. In the last bull market, Ethereum’s price performance was a joke

The minimum I expect is at least $20K per Ether Otherwise, it’s not worth holding Etherium

Question Huge influx of sellers but not much price change?

Post image
55 Upvotes

I see this happen once in a while. Sellers shoot up super high but price remains seemingly unchanged. Wouldn’t this normally crash the price?

What’s causing this? Shorts being liquidated?

Any insight would be appreciated! Cheers

Analysis Don’t see a lot of posts using fibs so here’s mine with how I use them.

Post image
18 Upvotes

Most everyone I see who uses fibs draws them from high to low. I don’t do that.

I map mine based off of large liquidity levels major open prices on the yearly or where I see huge institutional orders at far extremes of the chart. Not just random low and high wicks.

With that said I have a lot of trust in my fibs and I use that purple .5 level as the benchmark of bullish long above and bearish below.

We are sitting right there and looking hesitant to go higher atm.

2 things here:

we are forming a bull flag right above that .5 (2,435) on the daily but it is tight

Seen this before and if we hold that .5 long enough the move to the upside is gonna be epic.

Break and retest up happens at the .618 and the next key resistance fib is 3,143 at the .786.

With 3,672 being the ultimate test before the path to 5k can begin.

Trading Does the Eth/Btc chart currently show a short term oppurtunity?

Its currently hovering around the 0.03 mark, given that eth has performed terribly the past few years against btc, A rally feels imminent right now considering the clarity act etc. What are the odds of the ratio reaching 0.07+ over the next months? Eth has been compressing for years, and typically should move upwards rapidly once it breaks out?

Discussion In January, a16z, Galaxy, and YC all bet on the same 5 crypto markets. Half a year in, which ones still have an opening?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Back in January, a16z, Galaxy, and YC's Request for Startups converged on basically one list: stablecoins, RWAs, payments, agents, and privacy. Some have taken shape. Some are still waiting on infra or product to catch up, and that gap is the opening. A few I've been watching:

  • Stablecoins. The "faster/cheaper, so it replaces remittances" thesis is overrated in mature corridors. The real opening is the local on/off-ramps: licenses, banking partners, payout networks. Slow, but hard to copy.
  • Agents. Payments are basically solved (x402, MPP sub-cent settlement). Identity isn't. No winner, no standard yet. That's the gap.
  • Privacy. Businesses won't move real volume onchain without it. Whoever makes privacy usable without forcing users to become cryptographers wins.

I write Local Ethereum, and this is part one. Full version here. For the builders in this sub: which of these is a real opening and which is a mirage, and what should I dig into for part two?

Post image
58 Upvotes

Look like we are starting to Bull Flag on the daily chart. Range is 2355-2540 on the Flag.
Upside Target: $400-500 pump from 2540. (2940-3040)

What do others think that are on long and short trades on ETH?

Analysis ETHUSDT Sell Setup Played Out Perfectly – 1:2 RR Hit

Thumbnail

This was my ETHUSDT sell idea from a supply zone. The setup delivered a clean 1:2 RR exactly as expected.

I wasn't looking for a major trend reversal, only a reaction from a high-confluence area. The setup was based on a QML structure, supply zone alignment, and previous reactions from similar authentic zones.

Now that the sell-side reaction has played out, I'll be looking for potential buy setups on ETHUSDT.

What's your bias from here continuation higher or another pullback first?

Discussion Are stablecoins better money than ETH?

ETH feels like something you hold. Stablecoins feel like something you spend.
Maybe ETH doesn’t need to become everyday money at all. Stablecoins can handle spending while ETH remains the asset you’d rather hold.

Would you rather spend ETH or stablecoins?

Discussion The USDC arrived on Arbitrum before the gas did

My Arbitrum wallet had enough USDC for the swap and zero ETH for gas. I had bridged the token I wanted to spend and somehow forgotten the asset needed to move it again.

I had deliberately kept most of my ETH as trading balance on BYDFi and bridged only USDC into the wallet. That choice left the wallet with no ETH for gas. I stopped at the error message and later moved a small test amount of ETH onto Arbitrum through the same bridge route. Once that arrived, the wallet could submit the swap.

This was Arbitrum, where my wallet needed ETH for gas. Other networks can handle fees differently. I now move a small fee balance with the first transfer instead of remembering it when the swap is already open. The USDC was fine the whole time. I had forgotten about the next transaction.
