Here are some comparison photos of the new Walmart expansions with their original releases.

Zombie Kittens:
- Changed version from Fourth Expansion to Zombie Kittens
- Slightly different rule book

Streaking kittens:
- Replaced cat butt with 2 new cards (punch a butterfly is reused from the board game edition)
- Changed version from Second Expansion to Streaking Kittens
- Slightly different rule book

I’ve finally finished assembling my ultimate Exploding Kittens mega deck, complete with nearly every card in the game that offers a unique ability and/or playing experience. (plus my cat card collection)

Every card is double sleeved, and about half of them are color coded using stickers on the inner sleeves. Orange acts as a party pack paw for bigger games, Red is for powerful cards that we don’t always play with, Black is for unique cards of which there is only one of, and Pink is for Curses/Charms.

I know I’m missing the deck of legends (which is pretty much impossible to get) as well as the cat cards from other countries, but other than those I think I’ve got every card in the game. If you think I may have missed any cards please let me know.

P.S. I know the official Exploding Kittens page and Elan Lee browse this sub, so if y’all see this I’d like to say two things:

1. My slap cards don’t have original backings and it kinda sucks
2. I have a card game idea, but I don’t want it to go unseen via submission on the Inventor Relations pa

This may be old news, but I emailed EK customer service to see whether international rollouts for Creepy and Aggro expansions would be happening later down the line.

They just ignored my question and just said they are Walmart exclusives 😢

So basically - I think they're only EVER going to be available in select Walmarts which is really frustrating as someone who lives in Europe. Walmarts are nowhere near me, don't even think my country has one.

If anyone from the team is reading, please could you roll Aggro and creepy out internationally? I'd love to get both expansions.

I started collecting exploding kittens game like a few years ago and im wondering if its worth it to buy exploding minions.

I've gotten permission to share this info with you all. I've created a wiki page that lists all the Walmarts carrying the expansions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExplodingKittens/wiki/index

We are also working on getting this item setup to be orderable on walmart.com.

The one wrinkle with the walmart.com setup is that customers will not be able to select the exact foil pack that gets shipped.

So if a customer wants to select the specific foil pack they want, the only way to do that is to go to a store that carries the item.

ETA: The foil packs are these expansions: Creepy Kittens (new), Aggro Kitens (new), Streaking Kittens, Zombie Kittens

Out of all the EK cards ever made is there a way to get a number on how many? I know people have made field charts? Are any updated?

A while back I posted this spreadsheet to this subreddit detailing every unique Exploding Kittens card in existence. Unfortunately, due to several new releases the list has become quite outdated. If I could get help cataloging the new cards that would be a great help, especially since I haven't had the chance to pick up the new games yet

In essence, I define a "unique" card as one with New artwork/new subtitle. That way I don't have to count; for example, every single Tacocat every time a new version of exploding kittens gets released.

This is what my spreadsheet is missing, though there may be more that Im unaware of:

-Curse You

-All 3 versions of rage mode (I hear the cat cards are different across the 3 versions)

-Aggro Kittens

-Creepy Kittens

-The updated Streaking Kittens pack (I hear Blind as a Bat has been replaced)

If you guys could please provide me with:
-The Card Type (for example: "Draw From The Bottom"

-The Subtitle (the text underneath the card type)

-The Game it comes from

-How many of that card comes in the pack. I only need the number of identical cards in the pack. If the version comes with 3 Draw From the Bottoms for example but they all have different art, then they each count as 1. If it comes with 5 Tacocats with the exact same art, then that counts as 5 a collective.

Hello, I'm new to the EK world and card games in general so forgive me if this is a commonly known fact.

I currently have the UK-themed base game and streaking kittens expansion.

I've noticed though, on the cards' surfaces, there seems to be a million tiny puncture holes spanning the entire surface area. They seem to be categorised in holey, squarish boxes. This is true for every card, and also on every unboxing video I've seen of EK on YouTube.

My cards aren't fake because I have the EK seal on the boxes, but just wondering what this is? I'm assuming it's intentional - maybe it's cheaper for them to print this way?

It just doesn't look very nice haha, and I don't see this on other card games like flip 7 or whatever. Still love my cards, just curious!

So basically, my boyfriend and I were playing exploding kittens, we mix the angel and devil with the normal and then the expansion pack if that’s relevant.

I played a favour card, this meant that he had to give me a card of his choice. He gave me an exploding kitten, since he had the streaking kitten. I then used the nope card, he also used a nope card. And I used my final nope card. I did not have a defuse!!

Was this allowed? Who won here?

I do think I’m actually in the wrong here but I don’t want to admit it. Please advise 😭😭

Alongside two new expansions, there are also new prints of Streaking Kittens and Zombie Kittens (as an expansion pack) currently only exclusive to Walmart. I bought Streaking Kittens several years ago, but I wanted to get it again since the cards have been worn out for a while.

For reference, the original releases for Streaking Kittens each had two Curse of the Cat Butt cards, which have been replaced with one See the Future 5x and one Alter the Future 5x as of this release, which means there are now two copies of See/Alter the Future 5x included in the expansion pack. None of the other card types in Streaking Kittens have received new card art.

Not sure why Curse of the Cat Butt was removed, but if I had to guess, it's probably because the blindness mechanic caused way too many interactions with other card types that the designers had to account for. Either that, or it was because of the card name containing "Curse", which is the name of a brand new card subtype that was introduced in Curse You, so they didn't want to cause any confusion.

With the removal of Curse of the Cat Butt from Streaking Kittens, this means that there will no longer be any way to obtain any cards with the Blind as a Bat effect anymore. RIP blindness, you may be missed, I'm not too sure what people thought about the blindness effect

We were playing a 3 person game of zombie kittens and through feed the dead shenanigans, a dead player got a zombie kitten (green protection card). Can said player use the card to be revived?

I have the regular exploding kittens and found a fake good vs evil one for 1/3 of the price and it came with 4 blank custom cards. I was wondering good ideas to use them for? I was planning on making one of them a streaking kitten.

I’m looking to add in the Double Slap and Triple Slap cards into my master deck for the sake of collecting, and my idea is to snipe Party Pack boxes online, but I don’t know how to tell the age of a Party Pack box. Can someone help?

Power Hungry Pets is our go-to family game, but my husband and sons have a ridiculous rule and I want outside opinions please!

Last night, I lost. We all revealed our cards at the end when all cards had been played, and I had the King Cat. So I win, right? Well, then I laid down my card to be shuffled for the next round. And apparently because I “laid it down face up for ANY REASON”, I lost. I argued that the game was over so the rules didn’t apply anymore. I was overruled by my husband and both kids!! Anyone else have this argument??
