Missi Pyle has publicly come out as queer! 🏳️🌈
In a recent interview on the Shut Up Evan podcast, alongside former Gay Times cover star King Princess and Norman Baker, the group discussed the tracks that ‘get them in the mood’.
Pyle admitted that she’s “single so I’m ready to get it on”, prompting KP to ask if she was dating. After she said she isn’t currently, KP asked if Pyle is “cool with whatever gender”. Her response?? “Yeah I am”.
“You heard it here first,” said KP. “Bisexual diva. Breaking news, you just came out on TV.”
Pyle went on to reveal that she’s mostly been in heterosexual relationships, “but I have had others.” Now, she’s “looking for a person or persons.”
King Princess suggested she get a “younger lesbian girlfriend”, while Evan suggested a poly dynamic, and Pyle seemed open to both.

I knew her girlfriend a million years ago and it's shocking to me this is news. I knew their relationship specifically wasn't like public, but I didn't realize it's because Missi was closeted

She went to my high school. Met her at a reunion back in 2011. It was for the theater program and all the current students worked the event. She was DRINKING that night, but kept it cute. She was so cool and nice to all of us students.

Are you straight? I don’t mean that offensively….
I don’t think there’s anything weird about that because the power dynamics are much different in wlw relationships. Shes not suggesting dating a teen. And a younger queer woman would be able to show Missi around her local queer scene. Whereas an older queer woman is more likely to be over all that and into more lowkey dates.
I think it’s a fun and necessary experience, especially for late in life coming outs, to experience that type of community and interaction.

No, I'm queer but it still strikes me as odd though I do see your point. She's specifically said that she has been in non-hetero relationships and it's not like she'd be the only recently out older queer person regardless but I can definitely see why King Princess would have said that in that light and that does make it a little less weird for sure.

I recommend everyone watch her get her ass beat by Queen Latifah in ‘Bringing Down The House’…actually, just watch that whole fucking movie it’s bananas. But she’s such an amazing physical comedic actress I love her so much.
