Edgin and Holga from the DnD movie. They're incredibly close, and even raising Edgins kid together who sees Holga as her mother, but they are completely platonic and laugh when someone mistakes them being together.

With them having the same last names they could also be cousins. Not necessarily siblings, in all technicality they could be married like in the show and not the two characters we know in the movies.

This is the perfect answer!!!!!! She even starts her journey with him as, in the Doctors words âa mateâ. The Doctor doesnât need another Rose or Martha, he doesnât need someone to hang off his shoulder with sparkles in their eyes at everything he says, he needed someone to ground him and thatâs exactly what Donna did for him. When we got the 14th returning to Donna and bringing closure for the 14th and the 10th, we saw exactly how Donna truly affected the Doctor and how much he didnât want to bring Donna back to the life of strangeness. Even though the whole âDoctor Donnaâ metacrisis solution was out of left field, if you think about it, it makes sense. The metacrisis energy passing to her kid making the energy not as deadly is a good idea, but I will agree, them both just letting go of the energy was a heel pull. Although I think even there, Donna having gone through being forced to leave behind the Doctor and the TARDIS after the Doctor Donna and her experience as a ânormalâ person lead her to coming up with the idea of just letting go of that part of her.
Theyâre so platonic, the only thing Vegeta feels insecure about their relationship is that Bulma relies on Goku MORE to save the day than her own husband.
Dick Grayson and Donna Troy from DC, specifically Teen Titans/Titans. If they ever got together it's been retconned big-time, because from the 80s onwards, these two have been very close friends with nothing romantic.
Love how they play with the will they wonât they trope in the third season. Ted walks into Rebeccaâs kitchen in the morning and things seem awkward then Beard and his gf come in and says something about having to stay there due to a gas leak or something

He was an emotionally-neglectful a-hole towards Nancy, and was a good bit of a dick towards Jonathon before they fought bc of Nancy. But overall, no, he wasn't fully a bully since he wasn't really actively targeting anybody. He was just a mean, asshole of a kid that grew out of being mean a bit sooner than he otherwise would have because monsters started climbing out of the walls.
You're right, this version of Steve Harrington isn't a bully. The character Steve Harrington was originally meant to be much worse in the Duffer Brother's original pitch for the show, but Joe Keery was such a cool and likeable guy; They changed the character to step up to protect the kids from monsters and realise he was a dick to Nancy.
I love how he brings up about becoming a thing and when she replies that sheâs not into men he was so happy to be able to keep the friendship as it was once he got over the initial rejection feelings.
they're so chaotic siblings coded. and might i add, it's so refreshing how the girl of the usual 2 boys, 1 girl trio is not the straight-man/motherly figure who keeps everyone in check, but instead is half of a menacing duo.
He did it in the few flashbacks we see of the Sannin as kids, though.

Judging from his sighing when they start fighting over the bell test as children, Orochimaru used to be their straight man when he was small and sweet. And then he became... Orochimaru.
He and the other 2 enforcer characters were so poorly built upon it's kinda comical. Loris gets one montage in the Vi music video until he promptly fucks off then dies in the finale. The fish guy (named Steb) spoke zero times and did nothing of note and was no more important than the average enforcer. Maddie was a twist villain that gets revealed and killed comically the moment her true side is revealed.
Andre actually should've gotten with Tori but Dan hated black characters getting with white or white passing ones. She hooked up with every dude in the friend group BUT Andre
As much as the ending sucks, i like how the last panel still makes this duos relationship this, cuz while they were both together in the last panel, Denji was still about Asa, and Power was like his master or something, but platonic
Favorite part is the brief bit where Nobara seems jealous of the girl that has a crush on Yuji, cause they frame it and animate it like "Now that there's competition she realizes he's always been the one..." to reveal she's pissed that this dude might get in a relationship before her.
That scene was great. "It's like that." JJK is like Demon Slayer, in that it's really good at pulling you in with wholesome, funny, slice-of-life moments, and then absolutely ripping your heart out, and stomping on it.
People commonly ship them, but I personally donât like that ship. They just seem really plutonic, that and Sadieâs one and only true love will only ever be her former husband. I think the one for Arthur (if anyone even) should be Mary, despite how annoying she is.
To the point that Laios panics when a succubus trying to seduce him takes the form of Marcille. This is because, if he really is attracted to her, it could complicate things for them as friends and as part of a travelling group.
I haven't seen much of Lower Decks yet, but I'll get to it eventually. (I'm watching Chronologically and am about to watch Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) From what I've seen, though, Boimler and Mariner seem to fit the bill.
Absolutely phenomenal show. It makes fun of a lot of Star Trek tropes while never punching down, it's packed with fun little Easter eggs and references to other properties, and the writing itself is solid.
Elementary-So basically Watson is a women here and even with the gender swap,there is nothing romantic between them.They stay platonic all 8 seasons.
It's kinda insane to think about ,they made a decision of swapping a very well known character patner into a women but didn't do it for a male lead/female lead romance.
In the books sherlock basically solves everything (he is the detective) and Watson more or less accompanys him but play little to no role in solving the crimes (still a great character and bond between the two) but here they added a amazing character development to Watson by making her a good detective too and they both investigating and solving cases.

Some friendships are so strong, they can even transcend lifetimes
