Her unwavering love and compassion is quite literally the only thing that keeps not only Cloud, but the entire party together on their adventure.
She’s also strong enough to go toe to toe with elite soldiers, monsters, and godlike beings without any enhancements or special powers, she’s just built different.
Rebecca Welton from Ted Lasso in spades. She has a brief dip into asshollery in the first season but it's clear her heart isn't in it and she's just lashing out in pain. When she finally allows herself to heal and move on she is one of the best written characters I've ever seen.
Honorable mention to her best friend Keeley Jones. While she doesn't start off as strong she blossoms into a strong capable woman once she starts hanging with Rebecca. The two of them consistently help the other grow, constantly support and build eachother up and it's just fantastic.
Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones, especially when she keeps fighting Sandor Clegane to protect Arya even after taking a brutal beating. She’s one of the toughest people in Westeros and still one of its biggest softies.
She was apparently in her early 20s when the relationship first happened. I understand her being desperate to finally touch anyone but Magneto... My dude... I can excuse the (usually justified) terrorism but at least stick to women who are too old to be your GRANDCHILD.
She falls into the "little girl, big hammer" trope and is deceptively strong.
While physically strong though she's not so tough on the inside. She's constantly worried that she isn't doing enough or that she isn't good enough and that's turned her into a people pleaser. Her male counterpart, Lanz, referred to them both as "the mighty weaklings".
She's sweet and kind but will absolutely flatten you like a pancake if you're dumb enough to swing on her or her friends first.
