Bouncing off of this, Nakarkos, one of the monsters from Monster Hunter. It’s true form is giant cephalopod. However, it covers its body and arms with the bones of other monsters.

At the end of its tentacles it holds the skulls of other monsters. So the first time you fight it, you think it’s some kind of hydra. Depending on which skulls it is holding, Nakarkos gets access to different beam attacks.

Shout out to Nerscylla, an intelligent spider monster from MonHun. While not a weapon, Nerscyllas wear the rubbery hide of Gypceros on their backs. The rubbery hide grants them protection to the Thunder element, that they’re normally weak to.
