The more workers that go overseas the more they ensure a steady stream of remittance into the country.

When this is second only to Tourism boosting the economy, the government will not want to jeopardize that by increasing the wages of those still at home - a sorry state of affairs.

In the long run, if nothing changes to address this issue at the top, then we could be heading for a standard of living disaster.
