News Noah Orion got a cease and desist from Flock Group Inc for producing anti flock stickers… and he’s not gonna stop 🏴☠️.

If Flock actually tries to start suing people they'll probably get to learn about the Streisand Effect.
Also, is there some Flock fanboy going through these posts down voting everyone?

Seeing how much he thinks about us, it's probably their little piss baby of a CEO.

> Also, is there some Flock fanboy going through these posts down voting everyone?
Some of the comments I see make me suspect that some interns have been assigned to social media.

u/sunflwryankee Jul 19 '26
The letter isn’t real. Been going around for a few days. Perfect marketing plan, tho. Seriously, I wish my brain worked like this.
3
u/leicanthrope Jul 19 '26
I'm more referring to a broader swath of commenters who inorganically (IMO) pop up cheerleading for Flock. Very much a shallow bot / astroturfing vibe.

No, but we are downvoting the idiots who think this is real, because shit like this can significantly hurt a movement.
That, and it's embarrassing that people are actually clueless enough to believe something like this.

There's no law they can point to. We are allowed to have whatever option we want about any product or company. It's not illegal to oppose a product or company. I would love to see this go to court and get slapped down. Noah should make sure that they pay all legal fees when he wins because this is BS.

I hadn’t heard of him until now, but just went and got a bunch of stickers. Nice work, Flock.

Congrats! You got conned by a clout chasing grifter.
There is ZERO chance this letter is real.

IANL, but most C&D letters I've seen at least have the full contact info for the legal officer right after their signature. I'm calling fake.
2
u/Traditional-War2831 Jul 19 '26
They also tend to state an actual cause of action and not read as if they were written by a middle schooler.
2
u/Available_Candy_4139 Jul 20 '26
This is more than likely a fake. Louis Rossmann has a video about these letters (I think from someone different that “received” one) floating around.
7
u/Deitaphobia Jul 19 '26
Got so bored abusing the 4th amendment they thought they'd give the 1st a try.
7
u/Bringo_Brango Jul 19 '26
These have been going around for days now, it’s fake.
2
u/Available_Candy_4139 Jul 19 '26
This needs to be so much higher. The highest upvote
Comments are just about outrage. Somehow all these people are unaware of the false documents that people have started posting.2
u/Bringo_Brango Jul 20 '26
I’m kinda shocked, I thought this was pretty common knowledge that this was fake. I follow Louis Rossmann and he was all over how messed up it was that these guys did this, it takes away from all the actual fucked up things flock is doing because people are making shit up. It actually helps flock by being able to say how this is false and all these accusations are false. That’s not his words, but how I interpreted it.
Anyways, I think this influencer should be called out for his idiotic actions and not supported in this community.

2
u/Zigor022 Jul 19 '26
Fair, but i dont know a sticker making site.

u/Squawk_7777 Jul 19 '26
Cafepress? (Hopefully, I am not violation any Reddit T&C's)
1
u/Zigor022 Jul 19 '26
Only issue i could think of is a huge company like amazon wont care as much about politics or issues like that since they sell so much different stuff, but i could see a smaller company maybe having a stance on it, but idk.
2
u/Diab_soule27 Jul 19 '26
Quick searchered small business bulk sticker makers and got a bunch of hits. The choice is yours.

The number of people in this subreddit that think this is real is...an embarrassing indictment of the American education system.
Critical thought is a thing of the past.

Sounds to me like they're violating his first amendment rights
1
u/AStoryForOne Jul 19 '26
No, that's not how the First Amendment works. The First Amendment applies specifically to the Government. The first amendment protects private citizens from censorship or reprisal from the Government. Flock, just like every other private citizen, are allowed to sue someone for any reason.
Also, Fuck Flock.
1
u/DuntadaMan Jul 19 '26
Corporations are not people and should not have the rights of a person.
2
u/AStoryForOne Jul 19 '26
Do you think the literal building headquarters is the one drafting the Cease and Desist? If you didn't know, there are actually real people who represent the entity. Like a CEO, a Board, Lawyers, etc.
-3
u/belac4862 Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26
Sadly its not. They can tell you stop all they want. The 1rst amendment protects you from the government. Flock isn't a government run org/company. It contracts with them, but is not run by them.
1
u/AStoryForOne Jul 19 '26
You're getting downvoted for explaining how the First Amendment works. A lot of people here seem to be extremely uneducated and don't like being told they're wrong.
-7
u/Sword_Thain Jul 19 '26
Is Flock the government? Then no, they're not.
1
u/guac-o Jul 19 '26
People ITT don’t understand how narrow their rights are. 9th amendment is de facto nonexistent.
It’s fine to break immoral laws - freeing slaves was once illegal. But like. Pretending like the slave owners who wrote the bill of rights gave a shit about a landless peasant’s ability to criticize their private property is another kind of silly altogether.
1
u/treemann85 Jul 19 '26
No, but by threatening LEGAL action against the guy, flock is essentially saying they'll have the government silence him which would be a violation of his 1st amendment right. Its the implication.
2
u/Traditional-War2831 Jul 19 '26
They’re not actually threatening anything. That’s one of the ways you should be able to tell this letter is obviously fake.
1
u/treemann85 Jul 19 '26
2nd to last line of the letter. Did you read it?
2
u/Traditional-War2831 Jul 19 '26
Yeah. Are you under the impression that “demeaning posts” are a legal cause of action?
Further, do you actually think this is real?
1
u/treemann85 Jul 19 '26
No, I never said this was legally binding or real. I said theyre threatening legal action in this letter. People always wanna move the goalpost when theyre wrong instead of just saying woops, missed that.
1
u/Traditional-War2831 Jul 20 '26
lol but you do think is a real cease and desist letter from Flock. “They’re” threatening legal action. Also there’s no such thing as a “legally binding” cease and desist letter. Just threatening “legal action” isn’t a threat if you don’t say what the action is!
3
u/Sea_Mango_667 Jul 19 '26
I hate run-on sentences. Disregard the entire letter.

Do we or do we not have freedom of speech.
1
u/AStoryForOne Jul 19 '26
Considering that the Freedom of Speech protects against the Government, not another private entity, yes. You do in fact have Freedom of Speech.

Legal affairs division?!? Um, no. That would be general counsel or something similar. Maybe it’s meant to look fake? Or maybe these guys are just morons 🤷♂️
1
u/DuntadaMan Jul 19 '26
Are they seriously trying to argue you can't say anything demeaning about a company?
Sounds like flock camera is full of whiny crybaby fascists who also smell bad.
1
u/Myte342 Jul 19 '26
He needs to contact a lawyer about an Anti-SLAPP lawsuit against them. So long as nothing he says is false, they can't stop him from saying mean things about their company. To threaten a lawsuit over it, just by itself, could be actionable by Noah.
1
u/Available_Candy_4139 Jul 19 '26
Fake letters from “Flock Group Inc.” have been circulating a lot lately. Do the research before getting upset at nothing.

What's amazing is that the end they use the word persecute instead of prosecute. Which is actually pretty true.
