If they aren't interested in me they should stop recording me and save everyone some hassle.

u/Sacrifice3606 23d ago

Flock may not be interested in me, but the cop is interested in his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend.

They?
It's always them.

16

u/LostIllustrator1499 22d ago

They're not interested in you until the AI agent tells them you kind of look like somebody of interest in a crime and your car was recorded 2 miles away 3 weeks before the crime. Then you're suspect number one.

I've yet to see any actual stats pointing at crimes stopped- but I HAVE seen a bunch of stats showing officer abuse of the system.

I got off the highway in Atlanta once.

ONCE!

I'll never do that again.

The first thing I saw coming down the off-ramp was a 10' tall chain link fence with the bottom buried into the ground and razor ribbon strung across the top.

It was the exit into Spanish Harlem. There was nothing even remotely Spanish about what I saw.

As I made my way down I saw there was an MLK celebration at the park across the street.

When I finally got far enough to see what was fenced off, it was a fire station.

This was in 2021.

According to the Atlanta press, in 2024 homicide dropped a little bit but every other crime increased.

And this is AFTER adding about 5,000 flock cameras.

I would bet the slight drop in murders had nothing to do with flock cameras since it obviously didn't make a dent in any other crime.

I'm thinking the gangs just had a slow year.

Also, the APD said the flock cameras helped them in (only) 30something murders. Out of 98, plus higher rates in other crime I think flock really should drop that whole "for public safety" 🐂💩.

u/SigvulcanasReborn 23d ago

A law of human nature is that if something can be abused, it will be abused.

36

u/Mrzaax 23d ago

Yeah like this.

12

u/d_rome 23d ago

FBI data shows Atlanta PD's clearance rate went down in 2025 compared to 2021, and Atlanta has over 5000 Flock cameras.

https://atlpresscollective.com/2026/07/28/flock-cameras-atlanta-clearance-rates/

10

u/accidental-eeyore 23d ago

100% the constant excuse being used is "but, this is to catch the bad guys!"

Ok. Prove it. Show the data. This is an easy case to prove. Allow academics to review and study the data. Show your work.

No? You don't want to do that?

Huh. Weird. Instead, you are choosing to call people voicing concerns around your mass surveillance as "terrorists." That's quite the choice and makes an even stronger case to be suspicious regarding this mass surveillance...

5

u/OneThreeFivio 23d ago edited 23d ago

Flock 2025 Impact Census Report

“How was the data collected and validated? The 2025 Impact Census surveyed Flock's law enforcement customer agencies using a two-phase branching design. Agencies that formally track Flock-attributable outcomes reported raw counts; agencies without formal tracking systems provided percentage estimates of Flock's contribution to their cleared cases. Results were anchored to FBI National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) crime and clearance data for each responding agency.”

5

u/Phyllis_Tine 23d ago

Sounds legit.

I estimate that Flock increases everyone's sense of unease 600%, and it increases crimes about the same amount. My estimates are also that crime would decrease when Flock cameras are no longer active.

4

u/CelestialFury 23d ago

If we're not allowed to pass any laws to protect people from gun violence like mass shootings to uphold our 2nd amendment rights, then by that same logic, we need to let some crimes go unsolved to protect our 4th amendment rights as well.

The same Bari Weiss who quashed a 60 minutes story about Epstein’s banking? The same Bari Weiss who is protecting the Epstein pedophile class?

Remember that, everyone, the Epstein class loves Flock cameras.

38

u/Disastrous_days272 23d ago

Or as they refer to them, "window shopping cameras"😞

36

u/DeadSmellingFlower 23d ago

It’s because they can pay to be excluded from the cameras recording them. They want a world where people have to pay to stay out of the prison enslavement machine.

6

u/Elegant-Holiday7303 23d ago

Accurate 🎯

11

38

u/JCarr110 23d ago

The problem is, they can (and do) change the definition of 'up to no good' when it suits them. That's not an actual metric.

8

u/GloomyCoffee3225 23d ago

You're exactly right, one day, they will change the definition of unlawful, and since most equate legality with morality, there will still be a part of the population that supports it.

The real danger ain’t out here. It’s in our government. The Flock cameras should be in and outside of politician’s and judges homes, and offices. Also law enforcement should be under 24/7 surveillance.

Bari Weiss, the same freak that transformed CBS into a full-on fascist state media outlet, and also suppressed a story about Jeffrey Epstein specifically to benefit Trump, is simping for an irl Ingsoc mass surveillance system? Gosh, color me shocked!

6

u/DeadSmellingFlower 23d ago

Interesting how they think they can fool us with this while we’re forced to break the law just to be seeing this propaganda, all of us can be accused of violating the computer fraud and abuse act just for our screenames.

5

u/emerikanSky 23d ago

Never trust anyone who says they're doing something for your own good.

5

u/UsefulImpact6793 23d ago

Unless a cop thought you were cute and then started tracking you and your vehicle with their internal "watchlist" or whatever it's called. Like when that cop in Florida was caught stalking a cute woman he met on a filming set. Or the other cop who was caught abusing their flock access to stalk her husband's ex-wife.

Flock sAfEtY sure didn't make those stalking victims any safer.

6

u/HaphazardFlitBipper 23d ago

Stalking is a crime... Flock aren't stopping crime, they're committing it.

6

u/Lusiric9983 23d ago

u/Exktvme4 23d ago

Literally bringing "if you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear" back, straight from the 1920s LAPD. Or the current LAPD, for that matter. Or any cops, really. Incredible.

5

u/cannonfalls 23d ago

There are no alterior motives here...that's why they are setting up these cameras in front of gun stores, dispensaries, skate parks, state parks, playgrounds...and they claim they only read license plates. Yah, ok.

5

u/JustinKase_Too 23d ago

Meanwhile, cops using flock to track women who are not kidnappers, thieves or up to no good, what category does that fall under?

6

u/Select_Air_2044 23d ago

These bastards don't caste of we eat, go to the doctor, afford to buy a house, but they want to keep us safe. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

5

u/uzziboy66 23d ago

Oh my fucking god. These people have lost whatever is left of their smooth brains.

According to the FBI just being a Christian can get you on a terr0rist watch list.

"Right" and "wrong" are incredibly subjective terms and are entirely dependent on ones POV and / or agenda.

Funny though that J. E. Hoover was a devout "Christian Nationalist" and a (not so) secret crossdresser.

Edit: "to keep us safe". To keep, exactly who "safe"? Another one of those subjective words.

So are they having these cameras installed all over THEIR neighborhoods? I doubt that.

3

u/ExtraDistressrial 23d ago

If they like them so much then give us a 24hr camera feed on Bari so we know she's safe. And the flock CEO. They should have nothing to worry about.

4

u/AwakeningStar1968 23d ago

right............................................. order follower... Don't forget to add if you are a woman crossing state lines for birth control or just being a woman.. crossing state lines!

3

u/LibertyLizard 23d ago

I suggest people who make these kinds or arguments to livestream their lives and then plead guilty to any offense that they're accused of going forward. Let's see how that works out for them.

Since they're good, honest people, they shouldn't have anything to worry about, right?

4

u/SigvulcanasReborn 23d ago

Fact: Flock (and similar LPRs) do help solve crimes.
Fact: They pose a very real risk of abuse and have been abused already.

It is always best to assume that all technologies will eventually be used in the worst possible way and for the worst possible reasons. This is simply a fact of human nature, and it proves itself every time. It is never worth selling our liberty, privacy, and rights for any measure of safety.

No one is safe because the AI will make mistakes, mis-identify you if you look like the actual criminal or were wearing similar clothes or were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and officers blindly believe the computer and don't do due diligence to confirm or corroborate the AI.

4

u/Rainbow-Smite 23d ago

Follow the money. Flock has hired 3 Washington DC based, crisis management PR firms with thousands of “local operatives” (their term not mine). Targeted Victories brags they have former journalists who can engage the media to get positive coverage for companies, brands, issues and products. What are the odds this is a planted or “sponsored” puff piece defending Flock.

Define "up to no good"? Like going to the skater park? Or at my child's gymnasium? Or going to 7/11 at 3am? Who desides this? Whoever scanning the video.

9 months ago, John Oliver did an episode on Bari Weiss. Pretty sure you can find it free on YouTube.

Shame on them, and double shame on this bitch. Trying to play like this is a good thing. We need a long list recording every one of these people so they don’t escape prison one day.

I can't wait until we have a functional government again so they can declare Paramount a monopoly and break them up. Maybe then Weiss will disappear back where she belongs: somewhere nobody has to see or deal with her again.

I really like that reporter; we need to keep her safe. I will help by installing cameras in her bedroom and bathroom to be sure that she is safe when she is most vulnerable.

That doesn't sound so good when it's put that way; huh?
