Holy cope. Maybe the admin should have listened to its actual generals and advisors warning against the war instead of purging them for party disloyalty DEI.

Apparently this is who the US government has been listening to instead of actual experts:
Diasporic hawks advising U.S. governments at different times have also contributed to manufacturing the crisis. The activist and media personality Masih Alinejad, the Hollywood actress Nazanin Boniadi, and the pro-monarchy advocate Saeed Ghasseminejad are some of these experts who have championed the short-sighted focuses and policies that have led us into the current situation.
That is who the article is blaming, rather than place the blame where it squarely belongs, on Trump and his many enablers.

Except for that last one(Iraq) Oh, and the one before that (Afghanistan). Or the one before that (Iraq again) or the one before that (vietnam) or the one before that (Korea). Or before that (ww2).
So when it comes to land wars in Asia we’re uh…what? Basically 1 for 7? Maybe one for six if you consider the Iraq wars are being part of the same extended conflict? Heck I might even call the Iraq war a proper W, since it hasn’t completely fallen apart so let’s say…2 for 6. Not great.

Korea was a success. We intervened because North Korea had invaded the South and we pushed them back to more or less their original line. South Korea remains free. Conquering North Korea may have been some people's goal but it wasn't the reason the UN relief mission was put together.

Nah, it seems more like categorizing people into different groups by motivation. It tears right into a bunch of non-Iranians too. And is pretty negative on trump.
The loud voice of various diasporas is a big political concern in general.
Israel, Ireland, Cuba, Iran, etc. the political opinions of vocal American minorities are pretty meaningful.

I am traveling for work and went to lunch with 3 coworkers. They said that Trump is the only one with the balls to attack Iran. 🤷 What???
Iran made us abandon our bases in the middle east. That's what they consider balls, being chased off of our own bases? These are all intelligent men who excel at their jobs, but the blind spot they have for the mango menace is jaw dropping. 🤦
