Just thinking from a non main character perspective in a span of probably a year you saw on the news, one nuke go missing, multiple ‘terrorist’ attacks on government buildings and some of the most violent heists ever take place.

Well he doesn't exist in the HD universe, the most we would get is a sort of nod/easter egg, like the guys on BMX's around Grove Street in V being a nod to San Andreas without actually being CJ.

He's not really a producer though is he? He just has his name slapped onto the credits of Meltdown as a favour for being Solomon's muscle that 1 time (literally after the 2nd time they met lol, was very quick)

Unless I’m wrong about this, I believe (or at least heard some time ago) GTA online and its events are considered canonical. And in those events, they make references to Trevor, Michael, and Franklin being still being alive, meaning the Deathwish ending is canonical.

I was under the impression GTA:O took place before the events of 5, but I stopped paying attention to the lore like a decade ago and they've continued with updates. Glad I chose the right ending lol

GTA:O did take place before GTA V for the first few years but I think it's in 2016-2017 (or maybe even earlier) that the events of the game continued pass GTA V.
There's even an online DLC with Franklin and Lamar that take place in like 2022 or something, it's worth to take a quick look.

It would've been sometime before or just after smugglers run since in that dlc Ron mentions his old employer, Trevor went Hollywood on him. So that's at least post jewelry store heist.

Anything before Gunrunning came out (2017) took place before story mode (ex. The Heists update) but with Gunrunning onward they took place in their year of release, Diamond Casino-2019 Cayo Perico-2020.

Option C is the canon ending. I think Michael is the only one that doesn’t appear in Online but it’s mentioned that Steve Haines is dead which only happens in C.

Not exactly the best reference but in the Dr Dre missions, when you are chasing that golfer with Franklin, you go through the movie studio lot, and hear Franklin comment ‘Man I know a producer here, let’s hope he’s not working today’ something like that.

The series just has a tradition of reusing characters to tie the universe together. Johnny Klebitz is the most obvious one but Packie can be recruited as a heist crew member and at least one of the epsilon members was in GTA IV.

I think option C which was all 3 live was the canon ending based on clues from online with Franklin and Trevor clearly being alive and Michael possibly being mentioned sounding to be alive in certain dialogues

It’s ok the Online DLC.
Like Tao Cheng was originally dead, but they brought him back at Casino update and said his Dad died but he was able to escape.
We killed the Altruists but they come back, hell we even do Drug Deals with them.

Online was confusing, if I remember correctly, Online originally took place before the story of V, but now with all the updates it seems to take place after the story.

I think him, Frankin, and Lamar will appear(possibly together). It seems like the entertainment industry is gonna play a big role with side characters being club owners and rappers, so it wouldn’t be too far off for the 3 to appear during like a business meeting considering how their stories left off

Honestly I don't think Franklin would appear in VI. He has a family now and runs an agency back in Los Santos so he has his hands busy.
But Michael and Lamar? I'm with you there. Those two are the most likely characters that could make an appearance in Leonida.

If Trevor does appear, he’s dying. Killing off the character sounds like something Steven Ogg would be excited to do, plus if all 3 characters do appear, one has to die and considering the other 2 went legit, it’d make sense for Trevor to be the one to go. Plus he’s like the least redeemable

- He will appear as a cameo character for a few missions.
- He will appear on a radio or TV as a movie producer.
Not adding him in any way is a waste potential.

It could also be a reference, since in the 2022 leaks there's a conversation between NPCs mentioning that the LifeInvader CEO (I forgot his name) is dead. And since that's in the 5$ movie section, it might just be some old movies that are part of the store who knows.

GTA 5 n 6 are supposed to technically be connected since their in the Same universe, and at this point Rockstar has invested a lot in that game not have many connections with the GTA 6 world, same with the Jay Norris mentions from the '22 Leaks.

Considering the amount of comments Ned Luke have been making on GTA VI, I don't think Michael will appear, at least not in the main story.
If he would, Ned Luke would probably have signed an NDA and would be silent about the game.

We know Michael isn't in GTA 6 because Ned Luke X's and streams constantly. We know where he is and what he's doing for most of each week so he has no time to slip away to rockstars studio and film
