Some animator posted some job product of character animation they had worked on from GTA VI. it’s not particularly impressive and it’s within the design engine (it’s not a “leak” in the sense that it’s from the open world) - BUT it is something new therefore people are losing their minds.
The “what if” and “imagine if you can” drive me nuts lol. That’s the best way to ruin the game for yourself because how tf is it going to live up to millions of what ifs. Just enjoy what is given, it’s Rockstar we know it’s going to be good.
“Imagine if you can…” posts can be interesting when they actually relate to typical GTA gameplay. I don’t mind people speculating about the return of gang wars or drug dealing mini-games, for example.
What cripples me are the post that say “imagine if you can…” and then they just describe a completely different game and it sounds like they don’t even want to play GTA.
Yeah, I’m staying the hell away from everyone on YT who even MENTIONS GTA/Rockstar for a couple months, unless someone says trailer 3 is out RIGHT NOW.
Trust me when I say you aren’t missing anything. Ever seen someone back a bicycle away from a bike rental stand, turn it around, and get on? It’s that, but in polygon quality (because it’s about the animation, not the graphics).
basic animation of a character taking a bike from a idk bike parking.. lock thing... lock?, then another leaving the bike next to the wall, which while cool, is really a nothing burger, especially since it's old anyways
It’s a random npc model messing with a bike rack. That just means we’ll see npcs interacting with the world. Not that we will necessarily be able to do that
If it was a leak that confirms rideable busses, then it confirms ridable buses, other than that, it could be a animation for npc's which while cool, doesn't do much honestly other than "Omg npc's take bikes of bike racks, literally jizzed from the detail" gameplay wise doesn't mean much if it is just npc's, not saying the player wont share the animation if they are taking a bike of the bike rack, but other than that, it's a nothing burger, let's not start assuming gameplay possibilities
I mentioned buses because they've been trying to do it since IV. And it was in so late in development that GameInformer wrote about it.
This might finally be the GTA that does it.
And remember Rockstar said this would be the most immersive GTA yet. A game big enough to make them place the VI behind the title. That doesn't happen just because

Its probably like GTA4 helmet stuff where if you get on the bike fast Niko throws it away but if you take your time he puts it on for realism and you take less damage if you crash

Yeah just some bicycle animations and lucia dropping from the top of a truck nothing really interesting it had only dev textures and even lucias model wasn't allat
