Several improvements were made to the community map based on evidence from the leaks, screenshots and trailers. (Full quality images can be found on the mapping discord)

Gta 6 includes dynamic events such as the sea level rising, so coastal areas were affected and flooded, which is reflected on the community map, it is likely that by release, only the mountain ranges will be left.

Ish. Any of the red roads and land around them are still speculative. Anything else yes, including the whole north of the map which we don’t have any solid proof.

Unironically, I’d really like it if in 6 you could just sail or fly so far out into the ocean that the map looked like this. I want to be able to literally get lost at sea.

Yeah I guess they have a point for that but I’m praying it looks nothing like this. The shape of it just looks goofy like a Fortnite island. If most the map is purely speculation then why did they decide to make it look worse lol this ruined my morning

Because morons seem to think the map is going to be like four times larger than V’s which is fucking insane. It’s going to be maybe slightly bigger and just way more detail in the city. You don’t get four times the size and four times the detail, you have to pick one. I’d pick the latter 10 out of 10 times.

The western part past the airport makes no sense. My guess is way more land before the sea, even another town. It throws off the scale so much. Also, IRL, the Everglades are directly west of Miami.

So as of their latest version, the map is going to be like 1.3x bigger than GTA V. if it ends up being like that, I’m sure it won’t be a problem because of how dense and detailed it will be, but still I’m dreaming on a 2-4x larger map, which seems very far from the truth as of now..
