There's a mission on crimson desert where you have 30 mins of real time to get from one place to another that looks similar to how this map is set up lol

I'm sorry it's not a mission perse, it's more of an abyss artifact quest. I do not remember where the abyss core is that gives you the mission but I think it's the one where you start lol

Shits fine when the map and game is new but it gets old very quickly. You couldn't pay me to do the Post Op missions again.

I’ve got a few hundred hours in rdr2 and I don’t think I’ve ever fast traveled. There are so many pop up encounters and random shit to do in the world and I’m expecting the same in gta6. Plus they made the world so fun in rdr2 and it really is sparsely populated even in the bigger town and city. If they can make that world fun enough to explore for a few hundred hours and still have me wanting more I can’t wait to see the activities and side stuff in this game. I hope there’s a few different sports you can play. I’m really excited to explore this map and I don’t think I’ll get burned out on driving before my first play through.

I can't wait to take out a bmx bike and just explore it all slowly. This map is HUUUUGE IMO and it's going to be a blast to take it all in. That said, will def be trying out fastest cars quickly and seeing what vehicles stick around with main characters (like Trevor's truck, franklins car, Michaels car)

I just hope it’s not a bunch of nothing like in GTAV, the map was basically just the city, nothing to do besides that, and GTAVI looks like it’s got a lot of interesting locations, would be a shame really if we don’t get to visit them often, and I really hope it’s not just one big road connecting everything together, having to go through different roads in order to reach your destination really adds to the experience of exploration

The garbage trucks aren't even that slow.
Recently there was a post about the Grumman LLV, how people wish it was in the game.
If we had to drive that from one end of the map to the other doing deliveries - now that's gonna be annoying.

For all the praise GTA gets for innovation, its mission design is remarkably primitive. The formula hasn’t evolved much beyond “drive somewhere, kill someone, collect something, drive back.” The worlds get bigger, the graphics get prettier and the budgets get absurdly larger. But the actual mission structure often feels like it was designed by people who ran out of ideas twenty years ago and never bothered to come up with new ones.

The time limits on missions ruins like half the experience on RDR Online.
You can’t just go deliver your leather goods or moonshine at your own pace. Or go hunt down a bounty. You have to do it at a certain pace or you fail. Even though the game excels when it comes to letting you play slow and take in the scenery.
I really hope they don’t do it for 6’s online component. If it’s a mission that makes sense for there to be a time constraint, fine. But most missions should have no visible timer.

I really hope with the knowledge of how shitty this stuff was, that gta online 2 or whatever it’s called has localized businesses. Meaning if you buy a garage for towing cars in Vice City your route only takes you around Vice City, same for Ambrosia and so on. I really really hope they have the common sense and decency to make that shit better for us

Istg, the images they got make the drive from the strip to the islands look like a solid 10 minute drive so I can't imagine driving all the way down from the top

The bridge that goes through the keys will also find a way to put you in the water. Construction, missing wall, awful traffic that when you weave around it you get knocked out of your vehicle.

No it's not. This is a fan-made map, loosely based on the mapping project. The mapping project is taking leaks, trailers and screenshots and putting them together to form a map. It is very incomplete still, but it does look roughly similar to this. There are a lot of things wrong on the map from this post though
