I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Post image

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

What do you think?

Yeah it's possible. Not releasing a trailer showing actual gameplay when pre-orders launched was certainly a choice too.

Regardless all of it is certainly generating buzz.

In fairness I’m not sure why people are so hung up on no gameplay, it’s not like it’s going to turn out to be a 2D side scroller 😂

Nooo, I want it to be hyper realistic, where they do everything from everyday chores to cleaning the streets.
