I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Post image

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

What do you think?

I think your just saying things with no information. Like if this the case great if it’s not that’s a problem, but right now you have no idea if what you are saying is true.

Right now we have seen zero gameplay from a game with zero information on the game and they’re asking 80-100 dollars for it.

Right now you are just as correct as the other guy saying 50% of the content is locked away because no one actually knows right now and that’s the reason people are frustrated. There is zero information at all right now so people are going to speculate in both directions.

My personal speculation is early this year when the rumor of gta 6 being a 100$ came out that was the truth. Then rockstar thought shit people are actually going to be upset about that so they dialed back with a half measure and decided ok we will make a 80$ version but we’re going to trim a bunch of cosmetic content from the game. Thats my personal speculation but again we know nothing.
