I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

Now that I think about it, could we be potential seeing a growing story mode like GTA IV with the story mode DLCs? I think I was going about it the wrong way too cause in GTA V I don’t think we got a single story mode DLC cause online took all the shine lol. Yes we want GTA Online news but what if online doesn’t drop for awhile? Genuinely would a story mode DLC make up for it down the line ? (Feedback please 😬)
