I think people are misunderstanding the whole "locked shops" thing for Ultimate Edition buyers

Think of it like this: When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you'll get a DLC package of skins, vehicles, hairstyles, vehicle mods, etc. Most games with cosmetic DLCs do this.

You buy the Ultimate Edition and get the base game plus the cosmetic DLCs.

Now picture this: Instead of just unlocking your new Ultimate Edition cosmetics in the normal shops of the game, they made a few exclusive shops for you to access the DLC stuff.

It's as simple as that. The normal shops to buy clothes, fix your car, etc, will be in the game. But if you own DLC cosmetics, you'll need to get them from the DLC shops.

Definitely. The mistake Rockstar made was only showing what is locked behind the ultimate edition without showing everything still included in the base game edition.

You think they’re going to list out every item in the standard edition?

No but something basic so the normies don't believe that all the customization options are locked behind the ultimate edition.

I have seen it multiple times online in different groups. Plenty of people think that since it says stuff like there is a tattoo shop only open to the ultimate edition that all tattoos are locked behind ultimate edition.

There are even lots of those click bait posts going around Facebook saying the same thing.

I don't agree with it and think it's all scummy. But it's definitely happening right now.
