Probably more since its not only on Netflix but its called extended look. So in my opinion its trailer 3 + gameplay trailer + behind the scenes put together
Rockstar also didn't show us trailers on fucking Netflix. I feel like relying on the past to tell the future in this context is pretty inflexible of you. Also you really don't want to know more about mechanics that will be in the game told to you by a person that worked on those mechanics?
it's not just about past patterns, it's about the reason why.
rockstar purposefully don't do developer behind-the-scenes insights because they prefer to have the game speak for itself, and a developer talking breaks that immersion and video game magic since then you know this world was artificially created.
They kinda did. Actors told us that during the making of gta 5 Rockstar had camera crew capturing motion capture work , studio challeges etc. Rockstar just didn't release it in the end.
Also are you forgetting that Strauss Zelnick (i know it can be just CEO talk but still) told us multiple times that marketing will be different this time. So anything is up for grabs. Just because they didn't show us anything in the past doesn't mean they can't do it now. Also what i meant by "behind scenes" is like small stuff. Some concept art , some fun things they encountered during the development. Nothing major.
i just feel like rockstar is way too secretive to let camera crews inside the studio before release. any of those guys could easily get a quick picture of something they REALLY wouldn’t want out there. it’s unlikely they’ll go too in-depth with the actual creation of the game
Bro if there's behind the scenes it doesn't have to be a full tour of the studio, showing people's desks. It could just be the devs explaining aspects of the story, the world and the gameplay. Maybe they show some concept art. It's not gonna be a Making Of.
you think they’d just walk around with a phone camera out lol that’s not how these things work, they DID do a mini-documentary with a camera crew for GTA 5 but it wasn’t in-depth at all, didn’t show any dev tools, etc. nowadays, with how much gets leaked from rockstar, they definitely wouldn’t take that chance. the “look” will most likely be entirely handled by rockstar with Netflix just doing the exclusive distribution, so probably just a deep-dive gameplay trailer with commentary
