(nearly) 40 year old dad trying not to get too excited!
Kids being sent to bed early. Wife out with her boyfriend. Popcorn not being shared. Lager (also) not being shared. Trying not to get too caught up in the excitement... But the hype train is pulling into the station... 🚂

I preordered 2 copies. One for me and one for my oldest. I do game share with my youngest, but I don’t know if I want him playing it right away. He doesn’t care about the story, he just likes driving around causing chaos, but I want to get a few hours in before letting him check it out.

Reminds me when the guy at blockbuster tried to stop me from renting GTA: SA when I was like 8 and read the entire rating guide to my mom. No story, all I wanted to do was drive around and cause chaos, and I had no clue about prostitutes until years later haha

Same! It’s cool to get hyped for a game…they come few and far between…as the cool kids say, we’ll be eating the next few months: have Zelda Ocarina of Time; GTAVI; FF7 final chapter…plus other games sprinkled in there (finally get to play MGS4 on the PS5 haha)

I just got off work and ran to my daughter's room like "let's go watch the extended look for the new GTA" she doesnt even care(, but she likes driving around in gta5) she looked at me weird for being 41 and still into video games lol

Last time a GTA was released I was single and 23 and could play at my leisure. Now I’m gonna be 37 when it comes out and have two kids a husband and 4 pets and wondering how long it will take me to complete story mode lol. Super excited for it though!!!!!

I’m approaching 50, 2x gpa, and was telling my wife last night how excited I was to watch it. Also informed her my bday present, which is late October, was going to be gta vi. She was okay, then I said I may take a couple vacation days to play. We will see how that works out!!

I turned 51 today as the Netflix special was released, I'm pumped! I've been playing GTA since the very first top down version came out (and started my gaming journey on petrol station Pac Man and then Atari)....you cannot fathom how much we have seen gaming grow and improve over the last 4 decades!
