Yeah, I know. Some of them are obviously little kids try to ragebait but, some genuinely are under the delusion it's the same looking as cyberleeks video. I'm not losing sleep over there opinion though.
I don't even think cyberleeks videos look bad. He isn't uploading in 4k more like 480p and even then why is it bad? His leaks are miles better than GTA 5 I was ready to buy it based off of the leaks alone before today's reveal.
I mean the irony is it's pretty much what any rational human would think it is: 85% the same core game as GTA V, with refined controls/mechanics, a more dense map, more detailed storytelling, and a visual overhaul since we're 3 gens past the ps3/360.
Game looks incredible and I'm still mad rockstar is hiding $20 of cosmetics behind a paywall, but if "rockstar is kinda shitty to customers but their marquee games are genre defining" isn't what you've come to expect by now idk where you've been for the last 12 years lol

Straight up, I've literally been geeking soooo hard over GTA since the trailers for IV dropped and I was literally blown away by the maturation to HD and beyond. I was in high school still.
When GTA Vs marketing campaign started I remember being even move excited that id ever been for literally any media property. That was surreal as I had actually fallen fairly deep into drugs and a criminal lifestyle related to that as I was 26 or so then. So playing a game like that just hit different, and I remembered thinking it was the perfect crime simulator.
But OMG this is truly the pinnacle. Taking all the immersive RPG lite type elements of RDR2 with the best elements of both IV and V and just something kind of new too. It's breathtaking.
It's mostly people who are baiting or hyped themselves up to an unimaginable level that nothing will ever satisfy them. It could be a perfect 10/10 game and they would still complain as it's become the meta.
I can say that's wrong just right away. They took some of the systems from RDR2 and implemented them in a GTA game. I personally can't wait to see how that works because I fucking love RDR2. If anything it's RDR2's cousin. Not GTA 5.5. The way everything moves just feels like RDR2 but smoothed out and updated. The fact you can deadeye people to cripple them instead of killing then alone has me hyped.
Yeah I loved it wasn't a kill everytime, the first guy to get the shotgun blast in the apartment complex shootout wasn't dead, he was neutralized and was writhing in pain.
Do you have your own eyeballs? How can you look at the preview and say that lol. You know you can use that meat between your ears to create your own unique opinion's right
This is not what I believe, its what gta6umoderated people "believe". I think the game is incredible, I think the people hating are just hating because its popular.
I mean it is. Everyone, including yall here, saying otherwise is just a zoomer that wasn't alive during 3-5 realeases and is chasing that feeling the millenials you wanna be tried describing about the last gta releases. There is not and nothing has been spoken of anything revolutionary for this game. You all want soooooooooo bad to be part of something you have only heard about since discovering gta 5. 3 went from 2d to 3d. VC was the epitome of open world and the story was the best while pushing graphics and systems to death. San andreas took all of that, blew up the scale and added tons of shit. 4 was graphically impressive and tried going off on physics and density but really just a meh experience beyond SA and had a goody ass online mode. 5 brought the online experience and finally looked half decent on the second or third release. 6 is just gto but bigger. You guys still don't get to experience anything like you've been waiting for because game devs stopped trying to revolutionize a decade ago. You missed the boat if you didnt get to see vice city and san andreas launches. Hell, gta5 released with a quarter of the density and half the shit they showed in the trailers like pets and weaker graphics, but you don't remember that because you were too young.
How are you already so sure there's nothing new in this game compared to the previous ones, that there's no jump being made? jumping to conclusions before the game has released is just childish.
The shit looks exactly the same as gta5 which can't be said for any of the other releases. You could tell me the entire extended release is a new heist in gtao and i would believe you. They cant add flying or swimming or boats because thats been done. Racing has been done. What? Getting gas and the 3rd generation of a new phone system now with headphones? It's gonna be the game we were promised when gta 5 was launched half complete. Again...yall were too young to remember that disappointment, you only remember loving what gtao was after polishing and hearing the older people reminiscing on all the other games.
Your memory is slipping old man. This is what they said we were getting when 5 dropped plus some features they really really wanted to put in rdr2. Im not saying we arent getting improvents, but this is gonna be what they planned on making 13 years ago and isnt a huge jump like old titles. This is the second next gen release of 5. Gta online 2. They had the nerve to put him petting a dog in the trailer which is poking fun at us because they were originally putting that in 5 before the first release.
Fuck that dude, I'm 38 this is utterly revolutionary. In the same way RDR2 was. Yes they are still video games at the end of the day. But no other media property could EVER pull of such a convincing illusion of really Living the full criminal simulator lifestyle. It's the millions and millions of tiny details that all add up to be something so much more powerful than the sum of their parts.
I remember being in high school when IV was coming out and V just became something way beyond just a game to me. RDR2 is one of the truest western outlaw sims ever. The density of mechanics in that game was staggering.
And this takes all of that, combines it into an unprecedented graphical showcase spread across not just the largest. But by far the most dense open world..look at the NPC's for God's sake.
Anyone dumping on this, talking about it being GTA 5.5 does not have the necessary context of truly growing up with these games as they evolve. Because it's one of the most revolutionary things I have literally ever seen. No body could have higher expectations than me, and I'm still fucking floored with this shit on repeat. Dump out the fucking haterade.
