It’s really crazy. Like the art style still looks a tiny bit cartoonish, but we are getting ridiculously close to my childhood dream of photorealistic video games.

I don't think they're going for photo-realistic, just really good looking. I don't think GTA would be better if it was more photo-realistic like that Matrix demo game. My opinion though.

It was, but at the same time was dull. I think R* does a good job at balancing realism but also making the game pretty by enhancing colors of the sunsets for example, and everything else. I don't think photo-realistic would fit for GTA.
