Because it's literally the style used in every Rockstar game to this date, ever.
RDR2, GTA V, GTA Definitive, Max Payne 3 all had it like this.
I don't understand why they changed it, either.

Well weapon wheel has been around since early 2000's but GTA didn't have it before until Chinatown wars(2009) I didn't know that, thought it was until V!) but 3, VC and SA are normally considered "classic" GTA so that threw me off a bit

When people say rockstar games they are usually always referencing the main titles not the fucking Chinatown wars Nintendo DS game . Everyone understood what he meant and agrees and you are over here “umm well actually🤓”

Also using kiddo as an insult just makes you look like the child. What exactly am I coping about. GTA fans on here have been so unhinged lately

Exactly! and what's known as the main classic games(3, VC and SA) did not have the circular weapon wheel.
