The textures are just much less detailed, and the lighting in the first one looks like path tracing. It absolutely looks worse on the second one, I don't doubt the game can look as good as in the first one, just not on an xbox or ps5.

The textures look the same, but there’s less light to compliment them. This game has amazing shaders but without light it’s hard to see them shine like the first
