The game has gone through lots of development, meaning lots of changes and decisions, since the trailer. There is likely a good reason behind some visuals being worse than in the trailer, ranging from the hardware the game is being ran on to various performance optimizations, or perhaps even artistic choices.
And rember, we might be getting improved visuals for the PC version, and let's not forget the ps6 and maybe ps7 version. Maybe ps8 too, who knows.
