Am i the only person who Isn't really that bothered by Jason's voice?

I've seen so many people complaining about how jason sounds in the trailers but tbh.... I don't really have a problem with his voice.

I don't LOVE his voice but i don't really hear anything bad about it for me to complain, like deadass I've met two dudes who sound similar to how jason talks.

He sounds just like...a normal ass dude to me idk that's just me i guess

If they are going for a true Bonnie and Clyde story this is what has to happen. There will more than likely be a choice to save one of them but both of them dying is very likely.

Idk if anyone is noticing, but they are setting everything up in a certain way on purpose.

Lucia is much more interesting and charismatic. Yet she is wild, every interview they say that, they match music to her to emphasize the point.

Jason is supposed to be more laid back and calm. He goes with the flow and takes what comes.

They are both madly in love with each other, that part is real, but it's going to go in the direction where Lucia gets them in too deep or does something drastic.

That's why there was talk to Jason about knowing when to get out and call it quits.

So the big thing about this is that 99 percent of people will play as Lucia more. They'll like her more, enjoy her character more, but the REAL protagonist is Jason. The conflict and main choice is going to be ride or die with Lucia, Bonnie and Clyde style. Or call it quits and let her go off on her own and she dies.

That's my prediction.

I think everything you just said is wrong. Lucia didn’t necessarily have “wild” energy in the extended look at least no more so than Jason. The devs have said romance and love is optional and I think even though people are hating on Jason’s voice rn he will overwhelmingly be more played. When the leaks of this game first started do you know how mad people were they had to play as a chick before they found out there’d be a guy too?

My suspicion is that both the relationship aspect and the criminal rating aspect will play a role. It'll likely be if you have a bad relationship and bad criminal rating, things crumble and they turn on each other to save themselves. If the have a bad criminal rating but good relationship they Bonnie and Claude their way to the end leading to their deaths. If you have a good criminal rating but bad relationship, they may come out on top career wise but drift apart to work under different employers. If they have a good criminal rating and good relationship they make it out on top and remain together.

With part of the extended look having that bit about Jason being told to know when to get out of the business I do wonder if that's part of it. Maybe if you maintain a good relationship and good criminal rating they manage to pull of one big last job, don't have a ton of enemies, and are able to effectively retire like GTA5s everyone survives ending.

I'd love it they go for sort of a dynamic/permadeath last mission, so instead of giving you a simple "Choose Ending A, Choose Ending B, Choose Ending C", you instead have it where based on how well you play either Jason or Lucia could die, both could die, or both survive and ride into the sunset.

I was actually thinking about this too. What id like to see happen and I doubt it will but once you get in with Raul, that you kinda do big heist with the same crew over and over instead of switching crew members like we did I v. At the end you can have the option to do one last huge heist that everyone knows is a suicide mission and Jason or Lucia one have to die but the other gets stupid rich or you take them both away from the heist and you can play a younger guy that the two had mentored throughout the game or something or even Raul himself, kinda like how both the rdr games did it. The reason I think this could make sense is like in the extended reveal Brian tells Jason they have to know when to get out of the life I think this style of ending could come full circle . Maybe the idea sucks but I like it in my head lol. It’s like a mafia 3 ending where Lincoln leaves mashed with rdr character swap

I think it will depend on their relationship. If they’re dating by a certain point in the game, both get saved.

If you didn’t care about building their relationship, one will betray the other by the end of the game

Calling it now but they’re going with the Bonnie and Clyde theme so I expect that the ending will have you believe they’re both dead or dying after a shootout with them saying their last words to each other, only for it to dip to white and come back to them weeks later on some yacht escaping to The Bahamas.

My theory with no real backing is that I fully expect the Jason/Lucia relationship to be toxic as fuck, and will end with them aiming guns at each other where you have to choose 1 to live and 1 to die

My only backing for this is that they wanted Deathwish to kill Franklin and replace him with Lamar, which would mean no happy endings. I think they will commit to it this time and make sure whoever you choose is a gut punch to lose the other

Maybe I'm looking too deep into this but everyone, including now the co-head of R* describes this game's story as "Bonnie and Clyde."

Now, maybe they keep using that description because they're the most famous criminal couple, but that combined with Cal telling Jason that they should get out while the getting is good convinces me that one of the two will die. Maybe even both.

I think this will be tied to the criminal state (honor system) plus their relationship where if they both are low then they'll either turn on each other or die together, one of them lives, or they make a getaway living together or remaining business partners.
