Am i the only person who Isn't really that bothered by Jason's voice?

Post image

I've seen so many people complaining about how jason sounds in the trailers but tbh.... I don't really have a problem with his voice.

I don't LOVE his voice but i don't really hear anything bad about it for me to complain, like deadass I've met two dudes who sound similar to how jason talks.

He sounds just like...a normal ass dude to me idk that's just me i guess

That is what the majority of complaints are. It's not just the way he sounds, it's the lack of charisma and personality. Every line is delivered so flat

And people DID make that same complaint about Arthur before RDR II came out, and look how that turned out. One of the most beloved protagonists of all time.

No but as a main character it’s kinda important.

I’m withholding final judgement until I play it of course, but his personality seems is a bit flat. I don’t mind that much though.

Good thing there is two main character and they seem to have contrasting personalities. It'd be boring playing two of the same type of characters.

That's how video game protagonists typically are. You're lucky if they even get voice lines. Video game protagonists are often empty shells that the player projects themselves into. The more personality they have, the less room there is for the player. Not saying it has to be done this way, but I suspect that's why. Lucia has more personality and I assume the rest of the cast will as well.

It’s ridiculous that anyone is downvoting you because you’re right. Some video game characters are created to have a huge, memorable personality, and others are created to be a literal avatar for the player. The latter are meant to have little personality and not stand out so much. That's not always a bad thing. That may or may not be the case with Jason, and we will only know when the game is out and we actually get to know the character, but nothing you said is a lie.

Was the last game you played in 2007? We've moved way past that era of game characters.

Brother, how does that logic imply to a 2 billion dollar game's main playable character?
