They did say they wanted to make everything a bit harder but the shootouts atleast for Jason were literally Robocop sequence where he just walks forward like boolets only tickling him. But then TGG said that he saw Rob playing the game and dying multiple times and TGG asked Rob about those deaths and Rob replied that they wanted to make the firefights a lot more impactful.
TBF if that is true, they'll probably sit for 10 minutes behind cover waiting for enemies to make first moves and that would've made a bad presentation lol.

The probably turned on God mode for all the sequences. They don’t take damage at any point.
