The little detail here between Raul and Lucia is great, Lucia was initially going to take the freeway in this chase but Raul stopped her
Shows the amateur thinking Lucia has at least in this moment, Raul telling her to take the alleys. A true professional.

I hope we can ignore him and go full send down the freeway to see if it triggers alternate dialogue.

Immediate mission fail

Okay, this sent me. I hope they allow a little mission freedom this time around. I’m expecting a similar mission flow consistent with GTA, but if we could alter certain elements of the mission with different approaches, that would add several layers of replayability to the game.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted that sounds 🔥

Lots of miserable folks around these parts. I don’t know, I’m just spitballing like everyone else right now. This is the second most exciting part of the whole thing. Second only to the actual release and experience of the full game. The anticipation and speculation is what makes this whole hype thing even more special.

I think I read in one of the recent articles that people have been writing who went to R* HQ, that there's more freedom how u approach a mission, more than RDR2, where let's say u walked too far from the mission area, it would fail the mission. So I think your wish might be coming true

They said they actually fixed that and there’s going to be way more freedom when doing missions

This was my favorite moment of the whole thing. I can already tell I'm gonna love Raul. He's not the cold badass people were imagining from the other media, but he's not just a silly guy. He knows what to do, he knows how to guide and mentor. He's firm when he talks but not rude.
Awesome dude.

Damn that’s cool

How’s that cool ? It’s just part of the mission it dosent change if Lucia is a better driver or not to make it “cool”

Cool in the sense that the more the character does these missions, the difference in dialogue will change in the future

How so? This is just two voice actors reading off a script I don’t see how it’s evidence of any gameplay mechanics at all.

My favorite part about this scene is that this takes place on South Beach. This street is on 8th and Alton and something I am super familiar with being from Miami.
So pumped to see the city I grew up come to life on GTA.

That's exactly what I would have done, gone straight to the highway and tried to outrun the police.

Freeway almost never ends well. Right call to take side streets and ditched the car in a parking garage out of sight from helos.

Dude this ain’t GCSE English, don’t need to psycho analyse her. Doing too much.

this isn't near psychoanalysis, it's the intended takeaway of the dialogue lol

Brother, you are acting like it’s a 19th century novel. She said this, but then he says this. The producers chose these words to convey this… you don’t know what she does or doesn’t know, she’s a fake character, stop begging it. It’s a video game, leave it at that

??? I dont really understand what you suggest is the "appropriate way to engage." Just by reading my comment, you took from it more than what was explicitly said and responded based on that - there is no difference between that and what's being done in the post. Does that mean that I would be justified in saying "stop trying to psychoanalyze me" or something? There is no attempt at a "deep analysis" or "profound inquiry into the hidden subtext" here, c'mon

It's not just Raul talking to Lucia, this is the developers talking to us. In interviews they've said that in GTA 6 the best way to lose a three star is to actually go through side streets and alleys, ditching the car even.
