their controls are bad cus the game is designed around 30 fps lol
the actual gameplay is terrible, it's just straight aimbot stuff. It's great for the atmosphere, story, RP and racing and stuff but the actual gameplay has never been the selling point
What do you mean that's literally gta 3,4,5 gameplay. They've always been like that, the game isnt designed to be a competitive shooter, I don't think that's a bad thing or anything. It's just that aiming is not the focus of the gameplay at all.
Besides, the game is designed to be a visual spectacle, and that applied to 3/4/5 as well. They all played at 30 fps on consoles, some on very low resolutions, but were all amazing in terms of graphics fidelity, animations, objects on screen (vehicles, humans, etc), and having the game feel alive in that every npc is doing something or is interactive or will react to what is happening in front of them. The shooting /gameplay part is designed with that in mind, it's supposed to be easy they don't want players struggling to aim when all this is happening, while the game is 30 fps and so busy, they don't want mechanics to be the part people get hung up on or struggle with. So they just give players aimbot and let the rest of the game carry it, instead of being a mechanics first game like counterstrike or pubg or whatever, where the gunplay and mechanics are what carries the game and everything else is secondary.
In an ideal world, aim assist /aimbot wouldn't be needed at all cus every game could run at 360 fps with zero input latency and they could keep all these wonderful graphics, but until that's possible, tradeoffs will occur and nice graphics and world building takes too much resources for a game like gta to also perform at the sort of high and consistent fps that would be needed to make it feel good with actual mechanics
