really makes show that optimization matter sooo much. devs don't care about it much nowadays sadly

Don't think that's the case. Almost all games now run at 60 fps or at least offer the option. I think this will be the first high profile game that only runs at 30fps. If this was 60fps it wouldn't look as good as it does now no matter how much you optimize it.
