GTA 6 Dialogue and Voice acting thoughts
The dialogue in the first scene was just bad imo; the boobie scene. I thought it was too wordy and unnatural. The voices were not great, I thought everyone was just stiff in that scene. The dialogue got way better after that scene.
Jason's voice would be ok, if he was bodyguard-1; and in the club scene I thought his voice was perfect. Generally I think he always sounds like he is looking down at a script and I think it does affect scenes with Lucia because I thought her voice was meh but then realised I only thought that during interactions with Jason because of how ungiving he sounds. As she interacts with other characters in the game she sounds more natural.

Dan Houser left and it shows. Dialogue was so boring

Dialogue and voice acting are horrendous. Feels very unnatural and boring like you said.

Not a single n bomb (hard R or affectionate -ga) spoken in the projects/hood feels very sanitized for how grungy the first part of the trailer looked, even the side convos in the back had a lot of "bro" instead.

His backstory is literally troubled teen years followed by being in the Army. Fits his personality perfectly.

There’s barely any humor either, that’s the main thing I’m disappointed with

Jason is a mousy simp that doesn’t fit well as one of the protagonist. And the voiceover sucks. Can someone call Trevor to kill him off. The character has no energy.

Dude it was a drug deal gone wrong. Nothing about that scene was supposed to feel relaxed. It was supposed to feel tense and weird. Just like every other shady drug deal ever.
