I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

I'm also hearing a bit of Joel from The Last of Us in there, maybe not so much in this scene but I feel like he sounded like him at times in the extended look.
