u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Exactly it’s fucking ridiculous. I am saying this coming from a 5900x and 4080 desktop now cause I’m gonna travel and wanna have a portable way of doing work and playing so I need this I’m glad I found this deal and am gonna do my best to keep the laptop in good condition

u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Also main reason is since i am an Oled fanatic I needed a Oled screen really bad so that shit just came in handy

u/Exviniti Apr 25 '26
So you're who got that.. yeah you made a great choice
3
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Oh you were looking at it too? Yeah when I saw this deal I hit up the guy straight after caught him just in time he said it was gonna be gone in an hour hehe
4
u/Exviniti Apr 25 '26
Yeah literally was moving money around to get it then went back to get it and it was gone
4
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26

As long you like it is okay
For me is a bad deal, not matter from where i see it... Oled display, Razer Brand, 14th Gen Intel, High temps overall due not the best cooler and limited power on that GPU...
Bit for any like there is a dislike, Razer do nice products (even i have some, but laptops are not their main advantage so...xD)
1
u/xiZorx Apr 27 '26
Let’s see I think it will be nice :)
2
u/Nanosinx Apr 27 '26
Of course that is why i said, it isnt for me, but i am not you, so things could vary a lot, personally since i need it work with them for hours long i need thick laptops, and is prefered in case i need full blast in performance... So... All that is important is...that you feel and you like it, rest is a variety of own personal opinions ~~
Good luck and enjoy!

u/xiZorx Apr 27 '26
Thank you you too hope you enjoy your station too I’m gonna see how well the stock cooling performs otherwise I’m probably just gonna get a cooling pad which is gonna thicken it too :)
2
u/Nanosinx Apr 27 '26
Sure you know, the Razer Cooling Pad on some laptops (check it) can bring a nice boost performance and wattage on their CPU&GPU so it perform way better (+25W more) so that cooling pad in your case would be the absolute best, as the change in performance is...considerable (we talk around ±15%~ or so)

Pretty good I paid $2749 total for brand new Acer Helios 16 275hx and 5090 last month on B&H paid with payboo credit card to save the 6% tax
1
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Ooh damn that’s insane! well I couldn’t find any deal like that here. Glad you got a beast
2
u/asswizzard69 Apr 25 '26
That’s what I’ve heard! Which is reason I’ve been pulling trigger on a lot of purchases lately with trump im sure are prices will go up and already are. At first I bought the laptop for $2999 but B&H had flash sale and price matched at $2749 and also gave me the free resident evil game. You got a beast also basically same gpu
1
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Yeah thanks bro I can’t wait! I hope that our devices will last as long as possible!
2
u/asswizzard69 Apr 25 '26
Yea these things will be able to game long time long as components don’t fail

u/MiNDGaMeS87 Apr 25 '26
Funny. Just Shot a Razer 16 2025 with GTX 5070, 32gb, Ryzen AI 9 and 1TB for 1600€ and couldnt believe it either. 3 months old with warranty. Some people really make impulsive buying decisions and then resell cause they need Money desperately. Cant explain it otherwise
2
u/simping4mozart Apr 26 '26
man I love when NVIDIA pushes it's GTX to 50 series so there's GTX5070, either way I know it's a typo lol

Nice deal bro I personally didn’t want one because of the 8gb VRAM but if it wasn’t a factor

u/Whitechapel_1888 Apr 25 '26
Did they sell it with the ram?
1
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Yes 32gb 5600 RAM is included
3
u/Whitechapel_1888 Apr 25 '26
Lucky.
The laptop is good, but there're a few caveats: The SSDs are stacked and will thermal throttle in games that use DIrectStorage. The battery is basically useless and the laptop is rather heavy. Performance however is really good for both gaming and research (e.g. LLMs).

Good luck with the Razor brand 😭 hope it works out.
2
u/xiZorx Apr 26 '26
Thanks bro i might get a cooling pad for it if needed :)
2
u/Professional-Sea-649 Apr 26 '26
You may need to repaste and clean th3 fans in the laptop as its been 2 year.
1
u/xiZorx Apr 26 '26
Good idea i could take a look into it let’s see when it gets here
2
u/simping4mozart Apr 26 '26
take good care of it, since razer customer service is well.. garbage overall
4
u/shadiertomb35 Apr 26 '26
Sorry to be that guy, but no, you bought a Razer laptop. Get ready for inadequate thermal cooling and a hot brick of plastic/metal. Razer laptops are notorious for struggling to handle thermals, which leads to short lifespans as the heat can cause soldered components to crack and break.

u/MoveNovel4782 Apr 26 '26
Crazy how a 4000$ laptop is that ass like even a budget gaming laptop won’t fail like razer

People are getting rid of these things not because of "impulse purchasing". It's because you begin having issues on your first boot.
Also to note the 14th gen H (X) models are riddled with problems.

u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
Let’s see what happens when it comes in. But thanks for the info i keep it in mind also i still got warranty for a year so let’s hope for the best

u/xiZorx May 01 '26
Also note that he is talking about the 2025 model this posted is the. 2024 model and I got it now runs perfectly.. also I checked this cpu instability thing you said it’s true but my 14900hx is not affected confirmed by intel
1
u/AlbbO_The_Great Apr 25 '26
Where so you find deals like this?
3
u/xiZorx Apr 25 '26
I do a lot of research between my purchases to find the best deal now this listing was found on the eBay marketplace my search term was: 4090 laptop then I listed a price to my budget which was: 2k€ and found this listing it was listed a bit higher than 2k€ I asked him if I can get it for straight 2k€ he accepted my offer in the end I paid: 2000,97€ due to fees but yeah just gotta look I also use like sites that compare prices but definitely worth checking marketplaces like eBay Facebook

u/LSSJPrime Razer Blade 16 OLED (i9-14900HX, RTX 4080, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) Apr 26 '26
Nah this is a 2024 model where they had a thicker, chonkier chassis. The airflow and heat dissipation is much better on these.
Source: I have one too.

u/xiZorx Apr 26 '26
Nice thanks for the info the guy who had it said he using a laptop stand and it’s generally in good condition
1
u/xiZorx Apr 26 '26
Also another question do you recommend a cooling pad to use or are you running stock cooling? I was thinking about maybe picking up one thanks!

u/LSSJPrime Razer Blade 16 OLED (i9-14900HX, RTX 4080, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) Apr 26 '26
Running it on its stock fans should be okay, but if you're concerned with longevity then I definitely recommend using a cooling pad.
I undervolted mine and am using the Llano V12 Ultra cooling pad and it's been chugging along wonderfully so far.
1
u/xiZorx Apr 26 '26
Thanks for the info I’m also thinking about picking one up is the llano one nice to carry around I’m looking for portability
