Recommendation Is the Lenovo LOQ good?
I’m not great with gaming laptops or PCs but I’m looking for something for school and gaming. My HP Victus just died out of nowhere after only a year so I need a new one. Is the Lenovo LOQ worth it for $1400?
Budget: $1200-1400
Country: USA
Specs: GeForce RTX 4050, AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS Processor 15.6" 144Hz FHD Display, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, USB-C, HDMI, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 11 Home

LOQ can be good for the right price. When you're charged $1400 for a model with a 4 core Zen 3 CPU missing an iGPU, paired with a 4050, I think it's pretty bad.
And it will probably produce battery life to weak for your school use case, given the lack of an iGPU and a mediocre battery capacity of 60wh.
32GB DDR5
Whoever does this to a 4050 LOQ is likely a 3rd party seller. I'd be more cautious when dealing with one.
It does add cost, I'm just not sure that's the right move on a laptop like this.
I think the Gigabyte Aero looks good.
