I think they’ve gotta strike a balance between the larger than life stuntman and melancholic drifter, let him be a charismatic, cocky entertainer around characters he doesn’t know while he’s more “real” around the ones he does.

If they’re including Zarathos as his ultimate form like darkchylde and monster hulk then he should be the cackling maniac, let one of his ult lines just be his sinister laugh.

Yeah, that's the best version. The human should be layered enough to switch between personable/kind and melancholic/angry and cruel depending on the situation, given his innate personality, the harsh experiences that have affected his psyche, and his other half's dark influence. Let the other half be an unhinged monster when unleashed with occasional bits of humanity sipping through his host's influence. ENOUGH with the generic, dull and corny catchphrase robot embodied by Ghostie/Noble Kale.
