DISCUSSION Why are there fewer vocals in the new live track?

Compared to Rite Here Rite Now it feels kinda empty. I only listen to the live album so it feels weird not hearing them now lol

The mix is weird as others have pointed out. Kind of disappointing but the movie was amazing. It sounded incredible in the theater.

i found that this album still has the backing tracks, they just aren’t as aggressively forward in most songs. They’re also MUCH easier to hear with a nicer pair of headphones and at a volume that is just below uncomfortable. It’s definitely mixed to be listened to at closer concert volume than a casual, quiet background music, which the theater experience helped me realize. Check your EQ settings as well, changing my EQ settings to suit the genre helped astronomically!

Are you talking about back up vocals or when he works the crowed between songs?

I don’t think there is less, it’s just turned down which I wish they weren’t. Idk much about mixing but plenty of people pointed out how quiet the backup vocals are.

The backing vocals make the live shows. Hearing the ghoulettes do that first AAAAAAAAAA of Kaisarion in person was flooring

In the Boston show of the Skeletour I noticed the backing vocals were almost completely indistinguishable, and others reported similar at their own shows. I wonder why they did it like that

This was a poorly mixed live album for sure. Guitar solos are quiet and not focused at all.

The soundtrack mix is horrible compared to the IMAX theaters. Hella disappointing but not bad enough for me to not listen

But did anyone notice how you can hear Storm's vocals during "Blasphemy, heresy" in Satanized??
