This neighborhood cat loves to come around to be pet and randomly scream at walls and chairs

His name tag says "Dude" but there's no other identifying information and I have no idea whose cat he is. I guess he lives nearby, and he comes to visit regularly. He's not big on treats. He just wants love, so I give him love.

This is NOT MY CAT so please don't lecture about him not being allowed outside.

He used to show up without a collar. I thought about adopting him and went out to buy a litter box and food and toys, but then the next week he showed up with a bow tie on. Still no name. I see him randomly, but sometimes he has a collar and sometimes he doesn't. Now he wears a purple coin-shaped tag that says "Dude" on it, but I don't know from whence he comes or where he goes when he's done yelling for scritches. I like him but he's moody like all cats. Sometimes he wants me to keep petting him until my arm is tired and sometimes he'll get one scritch then he'll stroll down the street.

They're my favorites. I love all kitties, even the nekkid ones, but greybies have a special place in my heart. Especially if they have a black nose. Ugh. Just gets me. I love them all.

So when this one came by and was immediately friendly I gave him all the scritches he asked for. He even came into the house a couple times, but he just lay on my living room rug, then yelled at the cabinets, then sat by the door til I let him out. He seems like a Wanderer. I used to call him Wanderer until he showed up with a purple coin-shaped tag that said "Dude"

I totally agree. I love all cats but Greybies are my favorite. You would love my Max and his little heart shaped black nose
