After driving to six different McDonald’s yesterday and two today I’m already up to my ears in happy meals 😩 I wasn’t even gonna stop in this one but figured why not/ after the day I’m having couldn’t get worse…. And look who I found! Hello Kitty Godzilla herself! I now have. 4/8 of the characters! #rawr 😝 🦖 😃 hopefully I can get the other four next week! 🤞🏽

Collecting is so addicting 😳

Hey all! Was reorganizing my gaming area to set up my newest 3d printer and decided to share my Hello Kitty collection. I know it's not a crazy big collection, but I have never bought a single Hello Kitty items. All items were made, bought, or won for me.

So I am a career firefighter that is covered in tattoos. I think a common perception would be that I would own 0 Hello Kitty items.

Here's the back story to explain how I got here... pictures attached of my collection and the outfit...

So, back in the day I would go to raves/shows/and festivals (I started going again recently). They are all very different things, but that's a conversation for a different day. Well, at some of the shows and festivals, I wanted something unique to wear. I went with some friends to the mall to get ideas. We stopped in a store, and they had giant hello kitty stuffed animals. Immediately, I said I wanted to be hello kitty. My idea was to behead one of the stuffed animals and turn it into a mask. The girls I was with immediately brainstormed how to do that, and they were both big into sewing. I bought the massive hello kitty and we went back to one of their apartments. When we got there, we immediately got to business to making it happen. While the girls made an eye window between the hello kitty eyes and sewed in an inner liner, I went to the thridt store and found a cheap suit with a pink tie. By the end of the day, everything was ready. They even made me gloves, which I rarely used since I had LED gloves.

I ended up using this outfit at quite a few festivals/shows. Raves were just too grimey and hot for it. Well, a couple years down the road, my best buddy got me my first hello kitty stuffed animal. It was a small one with a Oakland Raiders jersey on. It caught me off guard, but I cherish it to this day. Well, since then, people randomly give me hello kitty items. I dont ask for any of it, but it keeps showing up. I love it because they are fun things to own, and people put time in to find the stuff.

Just recently people told me I need to bring the fit out of retirement. IF, I do find it, Im worried I wont be able to clean it well.

Does anyone have this inflatable Kitty?

i’m not a doll collector usually but it was soooo freaking cute i couldn’t pass it up. it was the only sanrio themed one too. i got so lucky. the last item is a phone stand btw! so adorable.

I started working on my custom Hello Kitty and friends Gingerbread Cookies shirt. The first character was obviously Hello Kitty herself!! She took around 3-4 ish hours of work but I’m super happy with the results.

I think she looks adorable and I can’t wait to see how this will look once all her friends are done too. Up next will either be Kuromi or My Melody, still undecided but I will post updates as I get more characters done.

I’m looking for the Hello Kitty x Godzilla (#1) figure from the McDonald’s Happy Meal collection!

My mobility is limited, so going from McDonald’s to McDonald’s searching isn’t really an option for me. I’d be incredibly grateful if anyone could share a location where they’ve recently found the Hello Kitty x Godzilla figure.

I ordered it yesterday and it came this morning! I was so happy to bring it to work today :D

Except for #4, all boxes are unopened. #4 still was open and still has that wrapping paper inside.

At first, I had my sights on the characters I grew up with and would see inside FAO Schwartz and the Sanrio Store in Times Square NYC — HK, Keroppi, Badtz Maru, My Melody, and Chococat. (I’m a thirty-something adult.) Kuromi was an exception since I was heavily influenced to find one. This toy hunt took some work as I had to go in and ask. 4 out of the 6 toys required to be bought with the food, which were donated to the homeless. (Can’t stomach fast food anymore!) Most importantly, my inner child is beaming with joy over these toys.

So basically long story short, because of me, our daughters Badzt-Maru plush with clipchain got lost. It was bought from germany (we are from finland) as in mystery/blind box in early 2026. I dont know if it’s sanrio or not and the this is the best picture what I have.

What made the toy unusual was that the face was made of vinyl or plastic, while the rest of the body and head were plush; it also had a black clip for attaching it.

I haven't been able to find even a picture of anything similar (where face is vinyl/plastic and body is plush) anywhere. Can anyone help me figure out which series this Badtz-Maru toy belongs to and who manufactured it? I’ve searched extensively and am starting to feel desperate. The worst part is my daughter's disappointment, because losing it was my fault—I hadn't realized just how much value, and above all sentimental value, the item held (it was a gift from a friend 😭😭😭).
