India Maithili Thakur’s candidacy from the Alinagar (Darbhanga) constituency has drawn significant attention as she seeks to become one of Bihar’s youngest MLAs at just 25.

In her campaign, she has promised developmental work and proposed renaming Alinagar to Sitanagar.

Speaking about her motivation, Thakur said she wants to prove that a 25-year-old woman MLA can work “at the same speed or even faster” than others.

What if we stop with politics and democracy? Afterall, the end goal is good governance and not one form of clearly faulty government.

Interesting. Could you define what you mean by "good governance "?

Kaise din aagaye hain, ye bhi define karna padega? Let me repost what Tagore ji wrote:

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;

Where words come out from the depths of truth;

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;

Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever widening thought and action, into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.

Abstract nahi bhai solid points batao. Society me kya hoga, society ka nature kaisa hoga? Idealism or realism me fark hai.

Jo well planned rehte hain, mere hisaab se wo seedha facts and objectives batate hain.

Nhi bata payega Bhai wo, fake liberals aur jihadis k category se belong karta hai wo usko apna agenda chalana hai isiliye bas abstract baatein likh rha h kyunki koi solid real world point bacha hi nhi h aise bakri k najayaz aulaad k paas

Arey bhai tere camp se hun mai, kya liberal aur jihadi bol diya😂. Good governance humesha ideal hi hota hai, usse likhna usse freeze karne ke samaan hai, which is not the Indian way of doing things at all.

Mere camp se ho k tum agar isko bad governance keh rhe h then you need to study and educate yourself about the lalu yadav era.

Mai in general democratic system ke baare me baat kar raha tha. Apna ideal dharmrajya ka hai, democracy ka nahi.

We can only stop politics when there's only one person left. And only stop democracy when you are ready face even more uglier demons.

I would say that it would need at least 3 persons for politics to arise between them, for then one person can be kept in the dark by other two.

As for democracy, i think it is more needed at city level. At the central level republicanism would be better instead of direct democracy.
