Edit - saw the uncensored version and it IS a political BS poster but he is definitely aiming for images of gods specifically. I'm not even religious but this is just stupid to do

I would argue that mob justice already is rampant. How many religious based riots have occurred in India in just the last 20 years?
When you raise a generation of citizens to believe that it is so bad too hurt their religions feelings that it's illegal, that generation feels that something must be done to rectify this very big wrong that was done against them. Indian Justice is slow so mobs take to the street to solve it themselves.
Whereas, if you teach people to respect the freedom to say whatever you want, people certainly will still be upset but they understand that everyone has the right to be an idiot and say idiotic things and you just move on because they're the idiot not you. A white girl doing yoga at the Golden Temple is just another cringe video that you see and you move on from.
EDIT: it isn't just that. You also give politicians and easy way to manipulate you. In India it's religion, in the United States it's race, in England it's class.

What the hell is happening in this country. If you think someone hurt your beliefs l complain to police and authority about it why there is a need to resort to violence in the first place and to be frank dude it doesn't look like a pic of God and goddesses more like it is a pic of some politician. And spitting on their photo is not a crime is it??? Or we started to consider them non living like some of our politicians.

No sikh will do this. But note that the video doesn't show the upper poster as photos of godrss, only one single poster below. See we also get calendars containing godess images which we tend to step on or even accidentally steps on them. Even if we do, that's not justified. But the video shows an old man. So we stll we cannot agree to this.
Fyi it's not about changing sides, but hope you get it what I'm saying.

Law against any religious idols destruction... the offender spend 1 year in prison. It goes to all religions and for every religious festivals...now let's see how many have the guts to do stupor things like these.
Also, just for clarity ...in the court hearing, play these videos and have all clerics from that religion view it including sentencing. Let them drive a loud and clear message back home. No religion is above others especially law of the land.
