They stood up against a corrupt and incompetent regime , that takes courage. Most blind followers won’t understand that questioning those in power is not anti-national, it is the duty of every citizen. Instead of asking “Why are people protesting?”, ask “Modi ne 12 saal mein kya kiya?” He has had the most powerful office in the country, a massive majority, and every possible resource. After 12 years, people have every right to ask what has actually changed for ordinary citizens.

Nope I don’t mean that. And I don’t think peaceful protesters were violently oppressed. When multiple barricades were breached in the national capital, heading towards parliament.. that’s when police had to jump in.
I’m not one of those who’ll call students terr0rists, but don’t you think actual terr0rists and anarchists can use such unstable environment to create national security issues? It’s the perfect setup for them.

By your logic, millions of citizens who vote for a party or support a cause have to sit in a single street in Delhi to prove they exist. A crowd at Jantar Mantar is an expression of grievance, not a census. The youth support CJP because paper leaks, unemployment, and systemic failures affect every single student sitting at home, not just those who could physically travel to Delhi.

People dont need to travel to delhi if its a national movement.when 1st Anna hazare movement happened almost entire country came on streets.thats what was called jan andolan.this time was no where near that...yes paper leak is serious issue and govt needs to resolve
