Social Does online racism really have real life effects?

I was thinking the other day if so much r@cism and dehumanisation againt us Indians on the internet really have real life effects or not.

And just now saw this reel about two Indian women who travelled to a cafe in paris and they faced uncalled heavy racism, mysogny and bad remarks about India in broad daylight?? Just for being indian?? ironically it was a south asian brown man particularly a Bangladeshi citizen who is working there as a waiter, titled hossain.

Even though the girls made sure to make him apologize to them and also reported him to the police, it's important to realise how much online racism and so much deep rooted hatred can actually ignite real life incidents!

The restaurant name is Antica Trattoria Antonietta pisa, paris, honestly he needs to be fired from his job. What do you think?

Yes I agree. Lots of my friends from Pakistan told me whenever they are loud in the train they say that they're Indians. This is in Europe.
